Wow, an exclusive that came out for a system with 50+ install base outsold an exclusive for a quarter of the size install base (counting WiiU).
Thanks for the article.
Another ignorant game who thinks "well i have no issues, so that means they don't exist". Get a clue.
Hardware issues that show up months later are quite different than design issues that are glaringly evident in the first day of using the system.
This thing has so many issues, many of which can't even be addressed with software updates.
- Flimsy kickstand
- Kickstand only works on completely flat surface
- Kickstand has only a single position
- Dock easily scratches screen. Plastic screen, are you kidding me?
- Joy con strap accesory can be put on backwards and get stuck
- Can't be charged while on kickstand
- Joy cons when used separately have terribly ...
Wow this is embarrassing. But Zelda makes it all acceptable.... sorry, I don't think so.
Not exactly. People use that word in different ways.
"One of the strongest", which is the real quote, is not the same as "the strongest", so let's set that straight.
This really means nothing without more info. Obviously GameStop is trying to hype it up to get sales.
Nintendo might sue them for using those images.
68th biggest retailer in the US, but no one shops there right? Damn MS fanboys at their finest.
#1. You really can't trust Microsoft when they say anything. They can be just saying it as an excuse for no games.
#2. I don't understand what they think they are gaining by not announcing stuff ahead of time? Why would someone buy a console if they don't know what games to expect over the next 2-3 years? Especially from Microsoft who has no proven track record of having a lot of exclusives.
You're right, 2 generations of old games but nothing for current gen.
Yes all talk. Spencer has been talking for 3 years and all you got was BC and shit for exclusive games.
That's part of the point. Stop doing interviews all the damn time. Keep your mouth shut until you have something to show. All he does is talk.
How come you don't see Sony doing all these interviews talking about all these great things to come? How much did Sony talk about the Pro before it was revealed?
This could also harm them as well. Gamestop could stop selling the system. Yes, I'm well aware that Gamestop has already said they will sell the passes, but things can change. Gamestop thrives because selling used games is a shit ton of profit. They won't see a shit ton of profit selling a freaking xbox game pass. That's literally a 1 time sale for a sytem.
Wow the third new Phil Spencer article today. With nothing to show. Still all talk. Don't talk about proof until you have the proof to show.
@higgins
Don't be so stupid. No one is saying that Knack is some great game. The point is you need a variety of games. Different people have different tastes. Not everyone likes Zelda and if you don't... there isn't much else.
Yes, it does matter. If you have to install it again, downloading 50gb is a lot worse than popping in a physical disk and install fairly quickly.
Eddie you think every person loves Zelda? About 7% of Wii Owners bought Twilight Princess. 3.5% bought Skyward Sword.
So what is there for the other 90+%? There is hardly anything.
Yes, it works fine if you don't touch it. But if you accidentally bump it, it could fall. Shit happen and it should be designed to account for those things. The end of the video is the most likely part, where the controllers are removed. The stand is literally on the edge of the device and it falls over so easily.
As TheCommentator has said, you fail to understand how an install base will affect sales.
If there were 50 million WiiU/Switch systems sold. Then we have an even playing field and Zelda most likely would have outsold HZD.
