@BLow
You don’t have to be a genius to know that list is obviously inaccurate. PUBG is still the most played game on Steam and you believe it’s not even in the top fifty games on Xbox One? Why would everyone on Steam be playing it but not on Xbox? Do you really believe more people are playing Battlefield 4 and PvZ: Garden Warfare 2?
That’s a really terrible comparison. Sunset was a new IP. Spider-Man is a huge movie/comic/game franchise. Of course it’s going to be a bigger success. Not to mention the Xbox One install base was around 8 million when Sunset came out, vs 80 million PS4s today.
Even before RDR2 there are Black Ops 4 and Battlefield V to take the crown. But Spider-Man should finish in the top five of the year. It’s a huge success.
Steering clear of RDR 2. Can’t blame ‘em.
Congrats Microsoft and Nintendo!
Not really interested in anything this September. October is the big month for me, with Red Dead 2 and Forza Horizon 4 leading the charge.
I just traded in my Switch and Xbox One S for the X to prepare for RDR2. I wanted to get the absolute best graphics quality for that game. I’ve also got an OLED TV coming and I can’t wait to try out HDR for the first time. I’ll be getting Game Pass so I can play Forza and everything else.
Except Wii U.
I always take away 2 points from old games being reviewed in modern times because of nostalgia. So this review should be 4.5.
Even though the PS4 is my primary console this gen, my brain still wants me to hit the square button whenever an “X” prompt appears on screen. All those years with the Xbox 360 controller really drilled into my brain that the X button is on the left.
Gotta be different from Nintendo.
I loved the Mario 64 castle level in Odyssey.
GTA V has a 97 on Metacritic and the majority of those reviews are from before GTA Online launched, so they are reviewing the single player. You won’t find many games scoring higher. Ocarina of Time and...?
GTA V doesn’t just cost more than Horizon. It also sells more even though it’s been out for 5 years.
There’s no way it’s getting delayed again if Rockstar is committing to that date in such a big way.
Congrats to Microsoft as well for doubling sales from last June. That is some big growth!
That is one wordy logo.
It happens with every major GTA release. I remember reading previews for San Andreas before I even had a PS2, and my mind ran wild imagining everything I could do in the game. I remember Rockstar releasing an interactive map of San Andreas on their site and waiting an hour for it to load on dial-up.
I was just as excited for GTA IV and V. The way Rockstar slowly trickles out information over many months/years builds the hype to a fever pitch. Just a single screenshot releas...
Congrats Microsoft!
Wow, the PS4 is way down from last year.
