A little less than I expected after last holiday when they sold 6.2 million. I thought this year would be higher but still good nonetheless.

This Black Friday I bought a PSVR and several games. I was loving VR and getting deep into Skyrim. Then PUBG came to Xbox. I bought an Xbox One S for it. It’s almost all I have played since it came out. My poor PSVR headset is just sitting there collecting dust now.
PUBG is such a mess yet it’s the most fun I have had in a multiplayer game in almost a decade. Seriously, it’s so tense and exciting. I knew I would like it after watching Giant Bomb’s murder island streams, but...

Seems a bit long for a GOW game. I’m all for a nice, long gaming experience if it’s meaningful and not loaded with filler. Long for the sake of long is not good and usually results in a worse experience. Brevity is important to keep me hooked to a game, especially a story-driven one.
Forza 7 did win Best Racer. This article has it wrong.

I would like Odyssey to win, but I know BOTW will win.
No GameFly? No used games or trade-ins? It would be a lot harder to afford gaming. This is an expensive hobby. Sure, I could manage but I would feel irresponsible spending so much.
Currently, I pay $12 a month to GameFly to get 2 games out at a time and I get to play every new release I want. I also download the occasional indie game.

No 90+ Metacritic games though, whereas Nintendo has the two highest-rated games of this gen within 7 months of release.
It stumbled in the right direction for me: I loved this game on Xbox 360 and it was one of the first games where I bought all the DLC and couldn’t get enough. I can definitely see how it could turn other players off though.
There are 28 higher-rated games on PS4 alone according to Metacritic.
Tried to buy it from GameStop yesterday and spent an hour trying different payment methods that were all declined. Then waited on hold with customer service who didn’t help me.
Now I just purchased it from Amazon in under a minute and already have the code. Thank you Amazon for not sucking like GameStop!
That’s a list of every game ANNOUNCED for the Switch, not released. The vast majority have 2018 and even 2019 releases.
Implying Switch owners only own one console... I own a Switch and a PS4 and I haven’t turned on my PS4 since Odyssey came out. Evil Within 2 and South Park are just sitting there waiting to be played but all I care about is collecting moons.
