I expected higher scores.
Why does the headline read as though this is an official update to the game from Rockstar when it is only a mod? Misleading title.
I loved the driving physics. It was my favorite part of the game. The cars felt like they had weight and were actually connected to the road, along with every bump or pot hole, rather than just gliding above it. It all felt very natural to me. And the crash deformation was amazing.
I can still see where the people who didn’t like it were coming from. The turning radius was very wide and it had more of a learning curve than the arcadey driving they were used to from previous...
Fiscal year 2020, which runs from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020. I highly doubt the PS5 will release in that window. Fall 2020 at the earliest.
Rockstar will probably release a series of gameplay trailers with a pleasant commentator speaking over the footage like they did with GTA V and RDR.
Don’t expect Rockstar at E3. The only E3 I’ve ever seen a big Rockstar game at was when they revealed the GTA V PS4 version at Sony’s conference in 2014, and that was just a quick trailer.
Wow, wasn’t expecting this. Can’t wait to play it!
To be fair, both games were not reviewed by the same person at Polygon.
It is the one year anniversary of the Switch and it sold more than any other console in its first year. That’s kind of a big deal, so of course they mentioned it.
Amazing how Mass Effect: Andromeda is already under $10. How far that series has fallen.
It has surpassed Wii Sports.
Counting exclusives is irrelevant when it comes to Microsoft, because they have two platforms to publish their big games on. Thus, most of their big games are not counted as “exclusive” whereas Sony and Nintendo only have one main platform to publish on.
Exclusivity has never meant as little as it does today.
Uh, what ever happened to Criterion’s new game they showed at E3 all the way back in 2014?
That is only two months of sales for Odyssey.
@bluefox755
Why compare to GTA V? The first RDR took the most GOTY awards in 2010, beating out the beloved Mass Effect 2.
And GTA V itself won 160 GOTY awards even with The Last of Us as competition.
GTA IV is the second highest rated game of all time, behind Ocarina of Time.
My interpretation of what he said is that the format of the show will be different. Everyone else seems to think he’s talking about new exclusives or something. He says “could be fun for us; it’ll be a nice change.” Sounds to me like a new approach to their press conference.
Exactly. Same reason it’s the most played game on Steam. What else are they going to play on Steam? /s
It’s the second highest rated game of last gen after GTA IV and the remaster is the highest rated game of the current gen.
Completed the poll.
I loved XCOM: Enemy Unknown and I rented XCOM 2 once but just couldn’t get into it. I’ll definitely give it another shot now that it will be free.
