The regular PS5 was already a difficult sell to many who are still on PS4 who are mostly still playing the games which are/were still releasing for that system, like Call of Duty and ‘FIFA’.

For now, there seems very little reason to ‘upgrade’ to a Pro. When they did the presentation and were pointing out these big ‘improvements’ in the background of Spider-Man 2 and Ratchet & Clank and such, I think I wasn’t the only one having a hard time really spotting these big di...

Same. Very happy that they moved the time-period to 17th century (1603), which offers new opportunities in terms of weapons and such, and also happy that we’ll get to discover a whole new location (Hokkaido).

I’m upset with Sony about A LOT of things these past few years. Pricing, lack of games, killing of studios, poor quality of expensive hardware, ads on our dashboard, pandering to scalpers, etc etc.

DE&I I have no problems with. I like diversity, I like inclusion. I feel we SHOULD be getting more perspectives, different narratives, and most of all, we should be getting our entertainment from a wider variety of creative people, bringing us the stories and experiences THEY...

Started Death Stranding last week. Impressed so far, and was pleasantly surprised it offered the option for Japanese voices.

Game looked great to me from the first announcement and later previews. Not a Star Wars fan but it gave me ‘unofficial’ Beyond Good & Evil vibes.

However, when a game launches to roughly 7 & 8 scores, with a lot of criticism aimed at gameplay-aspects, like the stealth, while also asking for 120 euro (!) for the Gold (complete) edition, obviously I’m just gonna laugh, shrug my shoulders, shake my head, and walk away …

Not sure what a DVA ‘simp’ is, but I enjoyed her gameplay in Overwatch, which felt fresher and different from regular movement and options in shooters. Slow on foot, but obviously very quick and versatile while blasting through the air, which offered very nice, new dynamics to the battle, and I think that style of move-set/gameplay would work very well in a SP shooter, regardless of who the actual main character is, be it DVA, or a Samus, or Xenoblade X characters, or whatever. That human sol...

If Blizzard is going to do SP shooters, I’d rather see them working on a D. Va (Overwatch) SP shooter. I see a lot of potential there. Likable character, her mech is awesome, and you could work with upgrades and many different play-styles there both in/with the mech, as well as D. Va outside her mer mech), and of course, there is already a gorgeous Overwatch universe so you could cherry-pick your locations and guest-characters, and go from there.

There should be no bargaining or reasoning with racists and misogynists …

Especially not when they’re actively harassing those who create these games.

I still haven’t seen any verification that there will be an option for Japanese voices on console, so I'm gonna assume Konami is being Konami as usual and doing a dub-only release, which means it’s an automatic skip for me.

I rather would have seen them ensuring that you DO own the game you buy digitally.

This is the reaction that any suits (or ex-suits) should have; let the creative teams do their creative thing, and if you feel it’s not for you, then you can simply choose to skip it and play something else.

Jin’s story felt pretty finished and neatly wrapped up. Yeah, they probably could have squeezed out a sequel, but you’d most likely still be stuck in the same location, same move-set, same era.

I’m happy this sequel is set in Hokkaido, offering a fresh new location, and hundreds of years after Tsushima, which offers so much potential for cool new stuff.

Kyoto is already overrun by tourists as it is. It would probably make sense if Japan finds a way to spread tourism out over more locations instead of just the Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto) and Tokyo, to both alleviate the burden of tourism on those two area, while bringing more interest and thus tourism money to other areas.

Of course, that’s not something Nintendo needs to concern itself with right now, and it makes sense that they stick with 1 museum for the time-being, an...

I wasn’t excited or interested when I saw the 2 new characters (don’t know them, don’t look very appealing), but I notice it’s only 4 bucks orso, so might pick it up. Recently bought the game so haven’t even played it much yet though.

Ghost of Yotei looks cool, very happy about that. Sony needed a big announcement this show, and for me, this was what I wanted.

3/5 show for me. It was already ‘spoiled’ with the leak, and nothing really big or major when it comes to surprises, and quite a few games we wanted to learn more about which are still missing (DokeV, Wolverine, etc), but what they did show mostly looked cool.

Agreed. Why even bother doing a State of Play when this is apparently all you have … !?

I have no idea what Sony is doing these past few years, but I do hope they’ll return to their senses, because this is just deeply depressing.

Yeah, Sadie made the best impression on me, as far as side-characters went. Loved her. Would have expected some SP DLC with her, but sadly that never happened.

@Whiz; That wouldn’t be an add; That would be the actual function of the wish-list feature. You, as a consumer/user, have opted to use that feature to let the store let you know that a game you’re interested in, is on sale. And you can edit/remove your wishlist if you don’t appreciate such updates, so it would be fully under control of the user, instead of just thrown at you by Microsoft.

@Whiz;
No, there shouldn’t be any ads in the store. Just the basic categories, like ‘new releases’, ‘demos’, ‘deals’, ‘categories’, etc. You shouldn’t be greeted by a huge Call of Duty banner every time you enter the store, or a ‘promoted’ post in every search-page, etc etc.

I think Unity exposed themselves last year, and IMO any developer should just stay away from them completely.
