Loved Ecco on Megadrive/Genesis. Diving out of the water was always a fun feeling, and the whole 'vibe' while playing/exploring was pretty chill and special.
Always hoped we'd get a proper 3D sequel with modern-tech water-graphics and physics. (Same wish for Wave Racer btw).
Seems pretty clear they want to create artifical scarcity and thus higher prices in order to make hardware unaffordable to casuals, in an attempt to push everyone towards cloud-service, as in, subscriptions. Ka-ching.
Dragon Quest Builders 3 would be nice. Driveclub making a comeback would be amazing.
I prefer console-gaming over PC gaming, simply because I just want to buy a game, pop it in, and don't want to worry about settings & all the other nonsense.
The reason many console-gamers are now kinda shrugging at modern console gaming, isn't because PC-gaming is 'better'; It's because that core console-gaming experience has been diminished by bringing in a whole lot of BS that takes away from that console-gaming experience. Ownership, always onlin...

I want physical and I want the complete game. It's that simple.
If you can't/won't offer that on launch, I'll shrug and wait 2-3 years until you ARE offering what I want, or I have lost interest by then. Either way, I'm not paying 70-80 bucks for digital-only or incomplete releases.
Love how this game looks, and always enjoy city-builders, so I wish this would come to console (perhaps bundle it with its 'prequel' Station to Station!?)
I hope these devs keep building on this, either with numerous expansions, or something bigger & more ambitious, like Cities Skylines mixed with a bunch of other genres/games, like Animal Crossing, Dragon Quest Builders, etc.
Nobody has any issues with the SeriesX hardware. It's all the other decisions MS has made and keeps making which is why gamers shrug at this console. Demanding games to also be able to run on Series S, extra storage is ridiculously overpriced, ads on your console OS, numerous price increases, and Xbox games now also releasing on other systems do why even bother ... ?
Nice to see anything Nintendo getting a price-drop, but there are too many negatives for me personally to consider getting the Switch 2.
I expect a good/solid base-game (which won't appeal to everyone simply because it's now a semi open world instead of different levels in Nioh 2), so 80-85 metacritic, and then they'll release a bunch of updates, tweaks and DLC-expansions post-launch, and it will end up great.
I like the Far Cry games for the SP experience. With them turning it into a MP shooter it just means I don’t really care for this one at all.
Many gamers (and devs) in Japan simply feel the PS5 is much too expensive for a home-console, especially with the Switch 2 now out. They've been pressuring Sony in dropping the price in order to create a bigger market.
The Japanese Yen is also very low/weak right now, which means it's been a fantastic time to visit Japan for many tourists, but it also means tourists can (and will) take advantage of the weak yen to buy all their stuff there, as it's cheaper to s...
Rumor has it that they’re gonna announce a region-locked digital-only PS5 for a discounted price (50,000¥) which would put it more in line with the Switch 2.
Can’t say I’m a big fan of this news/rumor, cause I hate the idea of going backwards to region-locked consoles and games. We’ll find out tomorrow. Hopefully they’ll have some cool stuff to announce as well.
Maybe worry about foreign influence in American politics first, Mr Blumenthal ... !?
Would have loved to have bought the complete edition, but game-key card and no physical means it’s not gonna happen.
I would have loved to have bought Baldur's Gate 3 if it would have had a physical release (not the censored Japanese release).
Sadly, the Switch 2 release is a game-key card, which makes it an immediate non-starter for me & many others, and Switch 1 won’t get a physical release of the Complete Edition, as it’s ‘exclusive’ to Switch 2. Very disappointing & depressing, and this will affect gamers’ loyalty to NIS America from now on. People will remember these greedy anti-consumer decisions going forward.
So, 100 bucks for Battlefield, and then on top of that a monthly fee to play online ... ?
I wonder if they'll be able to fill those servers a few months after launch.
Such a silly (greedy, short-sighted) decision by Nintendo to not include the prior DLC on the Switch 2 card. If the DLC was a (good) reason for folks to not pick up the game on Switch, they'll run into the same reason to not pick it up for Switch 2.
