I wish they'd add an option for Japanese voices and English subs.

I'd love it if they went back to the quality of the Arkham series, but are the talented writers and devs responsible for those Arkham games still even at the studio?

And the suits who made the decisions regarding Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad being GaaS titles would no doubt try and make those same mistakes again with any new 'Arkham' game, instead of just allowing the devs to make a focused SP game.

If they had followed up Arkham Knight w...

@Popsicle; Yeah, I remember reading the NeoGeo reviews and previews back then in magazines, and it was arcade-quality, but obviously far too expensive for most of us. And once the 32-bit era came around we saw 2D fighters with similar graphical quality, or even better, than what NeoGeo had been serving, but this time at an affordable price, for PS1 and Saturn.

NeoGeo also seemed to lack ‘an identity’, for me at least. Sega of course had Sonic and a few series like Streets o...

8 bit to 16 bit was huge, graphically.

16 bit to 32 bit was ‘different’. We were at the cusp of getting absolute gorgeous 2D games, BUT instead the industry instead switched over to 3D gaming, which was obviously a massive and important first step, but to me it was also ‘ugly’, and it felt like we were denied some massive steps in gorgeous 2D pixel-based gaming experiences, and instead we saw both an absolute revolution in gaming (3D characters, worlds, movement, etc) yet a...

I’m just happy that some suits at Sega have finally woken up to realize they have literal gold in their library well worth bringing back to a modern audience.

I’m hoping they can also bring back Virtua Tennis (doesn’t need licenses), Sega Rally, etc.

Surprised the Ferrari racing game didn't make the list. Player ut a little bit myself, didn't have a lot of content as far as I remember, but it did get very positive reviews back then, I believe.

Metropolis Street Racing was great, plus it had cool stuff like local radio stations, using the internal clock to determine the time of day for each location, etc.

Maybe just ditch the name/IP and make a ‘spiritual sequel’, so similar in concept, yet still different/original enough to not get Microsoft upset.

Does this mean he’ll be allowed to run the Tekken series into the ground with his ridiculous greedy decisions as well?

Used to love the Dead or Alive series, but the ridiculous OTT DLC greed made me completely lose interest in the DOA games.

Perhaps they could create just a tiny drop of goodwill if they wouldn’t showcase their greed at absolutely every opportunity they get.

Just release a game complete with all content for all customers. That’s it. No extra requirements, conditions, paywalls, whatever.

I think everyone here would love a new-gen upgrade for this classic, and perhaps they might release one some day, or they’ll put a bunch of extra effort in and do a ‘remake’ or something, and simply re-release it.

But I’ll never complain about free DLC. They most likely felt they needed to do a little something extra for the Switch trilogy release, so they included the cool new suit, and it’s nice of them to also offer it to those playing the other versions.

It’s a shame that after 6 years orso since the last Forza Motorsport, this new release seems arguably (much) worse than 7 and 4, in terms of content, value for money, track-selection, etc. Haven’t played the new one, it so can’t comment on how good/bad it is, but after having high hopes for the game (I’ve played most Forza games ever since the original Xbox) it’s sad that in the 1-2 years leading up to its launch every new bit of information about the new game pretty much killed all my intere...

Judging on the reviews, it seems it was just a decent/mediocre game, launching in a year filled with some of the best games this generation. It also received a pretty negative reaction to the beta/demo. It wasn’t ‘overlooked’ (I think there are other games which might fall in that category, like ‘Humanity’), but it was simply met with a collective shrug.

To be fair, I rather see them take their time with this and getting it right and delivering something truly special, instead of just rushing it out the door,

Sony killed the game and the studio behind it, but a Remaster of the excellent Driveclub would absolutely be my favorite release if it happened. Just a delicious racing game.

Here’s thing; I don’t care.

“Oooh, actually it isn’t a indie”
“Oooh, this looks, feels and plays like a AAA by a major company, but … “

Okay, cool, debate all you want among yourselves. It’s not really a debate I’m personally invested in.

I’m a simple man. You make a nice game, and price it fairly, I’ll probably support and enjoy it. That’s it. It doesn’t matter to me much in which category a game-dev happens to fall. I’m jus...

They had absolute gold with Overwatch (1) and then they decided it wasn’t enough so they changed everything and now it’s broken and hated. Great job, guys.

I would like to add a sequel to Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing Transformed to that list.

A game everyone respected and love, because it was such a huge love-letter to everything we loved about Sega.

So, following that huge positive reception, what does Sega decide to follow it up with? Team Sonic Racing. A game which completely drops all the Sega fan-service and the SP focused experience, and instead makes it co-op based filled with irrelevant Sonic c...

I just wanted Sonic Mania 2. I think many of us just wanted Mania 2.

This seems like an ‘okay’ Sonic game, but it’s built around co-op MP. I have zero interest in co-op MP platformers. Zero. So even if this had scored 90+ Metacritic (it didn’t), I probably still wouldn’t have picked it up.

Sega still doesn’t know what their fans want. Absolutely clueless, time and time and time again.

"Start screen, cool."

Uhm, no. Start screen very much NOT cool either. There really need to be new laws implemented banning these companies from shoving ads down out throats at every opportunity they see fit.

Decent list, but personally I’d also add PURE (from the same devs that did Split/Second) on there. Fantastic off-road racer through gorgeous environments while also having some hints of SSX(3) in there with the trick-system.
