Seems they still don’t understand that we just want a Battlefield game. 5-flag Conquest mode, 4 good balanced different classes, and 10-12 gorgeous and fun maps.

That’s it. Nothing else. No 5000 folks running around on a country-sized map, no ‘truly connected eco-system’, no ‘games-as-a-service’, no ‘perks’, no zombie-mode, no Battle Royale mode, etc etc.

Just Battlefield. Good old Battlefield

SEGA is sitting on a pile of absolute gold in terms of games/series folks love(d) but they seem completely ignorant about WHAT and WHY folks love(d) these games.

It seems they only semi wake up about the popularity of their licenses after they allow fans of the series to resurrect them to their former glory, like Whitehead with the amazing Sonic Mania, and Dotemu/Guard Crush Games with Streets of Rage 4.

Sega just sitting on series Crazy Taxi, Virtua Tenn...

Used to love this series, probably my favorite 3D fighter, perhaps together with the now also dead Dead or Alive (2-3-4), but as with so many games in the fighting genre, their short-term greed (season passes) has made me lose all interest, sadly …

Perhaps they should take a page out of Power Stone’s book and do isometric top-down 3D levels …

It’s probably best to keep the current game, and just expand on that.

If/when this game releases on the next console (Switch 2, Super Switch, or whatever it will be called), just include the two expansions, update/upgrade the graphics, throw in some cool new stuff like dynamic weather/lighting perhaps, some cool new stages, and 10-12 new characters, plus alternative looks/outfits for existing cast, and it should be great.

I know there are phones which have ads on them (Xiaomi/Redmi, etc) and certain Smart TV’s which have ads in their menus, and that has been a reason to skip such products/brands …

This is ridiculous. Ads shouldn’t be on any home-screen, and IF they are, there should 100% be an option to opt-out.

This looks gorgeous and fantastic. Really hope Sony reconsiders pulling support for Dreams, now that it’s coming to Plus.

Death’s Door is fantastic. Dreams should be good, but probably should have been released on Plus years ago to give it any chance of being a huge hit and building it the creative community it deserves. PGA23 is supposedly a mess.

Many of us just want solid SP games, not GAAS stuff …

So we automatically just shrug and skip releases like these.

The game looks very promising to me (love old-skool Assassin’s Creed), but reading ‘in-game purchases’ automatically puts it on the ‘I can wait for a deep sale’ list …

I’m really beyond done with the endless greed nowadays. Just release a complete game for 50 bucks and that should be it.

If Sega is smart (they're not; We've established this a long long time ago, sadly), they'd release a nice collection for current-gen with the best versions of these old arcade-console classics, like Outrun, Crazy Taxi, Sega Rally, Virtua Tennis, Afterburner, etc etc, as well as some of their JP-only releases, like Initial D.

Microsoft/Xbox just needs to admit this mistake and rectify it by dropping this requirement, so their devs are no longer bound by the Series S’ restrictions in terms of power.

It looks pretty promising; interesting varied location and according to first impressions the gameplay is good this time. But tbh I half expect Ubi to botch it all in the execution when they throw in mandatory sign-ups, always online, micro-transactions, GaaS, etc etc.

This would have been a no-brainer as an offline SP game where you just get a complete package and unlock new stuff through running through missions and a career-mode, but if the focus here is on ‘community’ a...

What’s there to celebrate!? Konami had the best football game in town (ISS, PES), and they completely killed it in order to go after the esports & mobile market with their ‘eFootball’ …

What a shame.

@Lex; I assume once Wo Long leaves GP, those who play and enjoy the game will probably pick it up in a sale. (not everyone obviously, but those who are big fans)

I only played and enjoyed the demo. I don’t believe it’s as good as Nioh 2, but I plan on picking it up once it drops down to 20 bucks orso. Also waiting on what they’ll be doing with the DLC, so might wait/go for a Complete Edition if that ever comes out.

I still have many Mean Machines from those days (as well as C&VG and EGM), and I enjoyed them then and I still enjoy them now, but they were far from professional, and page-design was absolutely terrible back then.

I know we all look through our thick nostalgia-glasses and we absolutely loved these magazines back then for what they offered us, which was news & reviews of the exciting world of our favorite hobby, and of course there were far more limitations in term...

Seems the article is very USA-based, but my favourite gaming magazine was the excellent GamesTM. Fantastic page-design, good blend of enthusiasm/love for gaming, and objective criticisms, and just quality reading.

Sadly, over the years the page-count went down, they lost a lot of content, and price went up, so writing was on the wall that it was sadly ending.

A shame, cause I feel it’s important for magazines like GamesTM to exist.

I would have loved an Xbox Series X in that SOFT-pink color in the picture, but sadly they went with a hard pink Series S instead.

As usual, Sega sadly doesn’t have a clue as to what they’re doing and what Sonic/Sega fans want from them …

A shame, cause Sonic Mania was the very best Sonic platformer since Sonic 2, and the best Sonic game since Sonic & Sega All-Stars Transformed, and I would have been infinitely more excited about a Sonic Mania 2, than I was about Sonic Frontiers, Team Sonic Racing, and they even managed to somehow botch up Sonic Generations … (!)

Sega could be do...
