The question might be valid but the answer is utterly obvious. When comparing to the wii, why was the wii not considered the winner by some? every answer you get to that question, PS4 does not suffer from. it has quality games, a far more stable audience, no gimmicks pushed to the forefront.

Honestly I've noticed they've stopped saying it's selling X% better than the 360. And Nintendo is doing much. I'm primarily a playstation fan, but I don't want them to go unopposed.
I see. from your reply, it honestly seems like you'd eventually end up regretting giving up forza. My advice would be to save up for PS4 and try to keep the X1. quirky games PS has in spades, so if that's your thing, I'd push to grab one.
Best to think of it this way, you're trading forza and any other MS exclusives you like but might be thinking about just now, but you'd be getting access to uncharted, the last of us, killzone, grand turismo, drive club, the last guardian, spiderman, days gone, until dawn, infamous, horizon etc etc. I doubt you're into all of them, but surely with all the exclusives you've missed out on you'd find a bunch to like. Xbox has been trying on that front. I just don't think they have it as down pat as Sony does. But we've seen recore, quantum break, sunset overdrive and such. varying results, but have put some effort into it. Much better than buying tomb raider to compete with uncharted. I'm still a little PO'ed when thinking about what could have been if they had put that money toward a new IP. might have been a flop, might have been a great new franchise. alas, we'll never know. ...
Yeah but PS2 reached 150 million after 11 years. This gen won't last that long. Still, it's looking to break the 100 million mark, becoming only the 4th home console to do so, and that will make 3 of those 4 being a Sony console.
One hit wonder, heh. It's on track to be only the fourth home console to sell more than 100 million. 2 of the other 3 are already Sony consoles. xbox fanboys need to realize that the worst selling playstation, the PS3 still outsold the best selling xbox console, the 360.
