Wish he'd ease up on the movie reviews and get more game reviews done. His tastes match mine near perfectly most of the time, so if he does a review on a game I'm on the fence about it can be the difference between a day one buy or a "wait til it's on sale" purchase.
The app itself is fantastic. kind of a bastard child of hulu and directv. Press one button and a show gets added to your favorites where you can view previous episodes on demand.
Only issue is the channel selection but that's getting better. History, CW and comedy central as the most notable omissions. But they had CC before so I'm guessing that's just Viacom getting greedy yet again. Oh and no local channels, just on demand versions of the big networks,

Well, not entirely, they also brought us my personal choice for cord cutting, ps vue and my choice of VR.
If it's THAT important to you you're far better off with a PC.
good for you. though personally I would have grabbed a PC, an alienware alpha or steam machine around the same price of a console. You'd have gotten pretty much everything the X1 offers and so much more.
Squall is one of my favorite FF leads. I loved that they let you in on what he's thinking at the time more than any other FF lead. Granted they kind of had to with him being so introverted. If they didn't, it'd seem like he was doing things and making decisions for no reason.
I never much cared for the cheerleader types like ZIdane and Tidus, nor the overly melodramatic Clouds. Terra and Squall do nicely.
I could take it or leave it. Honestly in the state it's in, I'd never use it.
That seems to be the xbox strategy all around. Only focus on the times (holiday) and places (NA and UK) that yield the best returns and forget about the rest.
But how many bullets were fired in killzone shadowfall?
Only issue I run into with those stands is that I like those silicone covers for my controllers and they don't tend to fit in those stands.
I remember back in the day there was a line being touted "PS4 has no games!". Don't really hear that anymore.
Not necessarily. people could have loaned their copy to a friend, sibilings in the same house hold might have played it, people who had to create a new account, review copies.
I'm sure used copies are the overwhelming majority, but there's a big chunk of that 1 million that wasn't due to buying a used copy.
same here.
that's nice of you. good man.
Wow, ok. you guys sold me. I'll grab it.
They popularized it, but they didn't start it. That's been going on before MS got into the console business.
oh sorry, didn't realize this was limited to DLC. my bad.
I would get it, but I'm usually turned off by FPS with few exceptions. Story needs to be next to insanely good.
In other news: water is dry.
I don't see a clarification, more like back peddling. I get it though, it's not like as the head of xbox he can just say, "yeah, I put my foot in my mouth."
He usually does a list for both worst and disappointing.
