You don't hear many 'XBots' complaining. They're too busy playing Titanfall.
@ MRMagoo123
The single player has less value. Are you really going to play The Order more than 3 times?
Microsoft servers are still active for some of the first Xbox 360 games (example: Gears of War - released in 2006). I think you got more than enough vlue if you are still playing the MP portion 8 years later.
I still think this game looks like an enhanced Gears of War. Gameplay is remarkably similar. I hate when people say 'this game does not innovate....not everything has to be completely innovative. None of this is a bad thing. Gears were great games and was a system seller for XBox. Clearly Sony put the orders out for their a Gears game.
The presence of QTEs is kind of disappointing.
However, the real killer for this game is the lack of multiplayer. That was Gear...
Ahhhh...the power of the Internet.
The place where one person with an issue can inform thousands of an isolated issue.
...and yes, Twitch works fine for me.
I've always wished this: Let Sony build the hardware and Microsoft can hangle the online component.
Win win for everyone!!
Can it be called a 'hit game' if it technically hasn't been released yet?
The drawback on ray tracing is the amount of processing power that is needed.
Not saying this is correct, but in theory Microsoft would be able to pull off ray tracing (and Sony wouldn't) is because of 'the power of the cloud' and Microsoft's 300,000 servers for xbox.
Take that with a grain of alt. .but that's at least what Microsoft has been angling.
First it was Microsoft and the then the Xbox. Next or was Sony. Now we are seeing articles about EA. When will this pointless speculation end?
Surprised this article isn't from Forbes or one of their 'video game correspondents'.
EN is consistently voted as one of the most hated companies in America. Not sure if there is much more faith to lose. :)
I think Spencer already said PGR is pretty much ruled out due to # of racing games franchises already in development/active.
Sorry. :)
Yeah....resolution matters so much. Sony fan boys were bragging about 1080p and 60fps, yet nobody noticed that Killzone wasn't 1080p and 60fps until an article came out saying it wasn't. These resolution arguments are do tiresome as these differences often aren't noticed.
Wanna make sure I got this right.... You're saying that because of the format you play VIDEO GAMES on, that makes you a man???
HILARIOUS!!!!
Tell us more Mr. Master Race PC user. Please...us console boys could use a good laugh.
I don't agree with your math.
1) GAME COST : who holds onto 55 console games. You'd surely recoup some of your money by selling/trading in. Good luck trading in the digital copies on your pc. You are also assuming that all these games are bought new. Some people buy used which again would lower the console price.
2) PC PRICE: you won't have PC 'master race' bragging rights with an $800 rig. I'm sure you'll argue, but top be top n...
The funny thing about the don't games not hitting 1080p and 60fps is that while all the Sony fan boys were chatting up 'resolution gate', none of them even noticed they weren't playing at 1080p and 60fps. That's what I find hilarious.
Haha. I thought the same thing... The xbox can't hit 1080p and 60fps.
Then again...Neither can Sony.... They'll just say they can!!!!
In the past month there have been articles about Microsoft selling xbox, Nintendo being sold and Sony in financial trouble. I don't believe any of them.... especially from Forbes. Their video game correspondent is the worst.
Titanfall to become franchise exclusive to Xbox.
Includes all current and future games.
I wouldn't be surprised if one of the surprises Microspft announces at E3 is that the entire Titanfall franchise will be exclusive to XBox.
As a Games with Gold subscriber, I can tell you - as everyone is aware- the games offered aren't even close to what Sony is offering. This month is the Tomb Raider reboot... Nice offering. We got some 6 year old Civilization game. I'm hoping that at E3 they discuss the changes to the program and X1 offerings.
What I was going to read in this article, but it only touched on, was the compensation aspect. Of course both Sony and Xbox are compensating to fish or fre...
