Reading a lot of fanboy speculation and opinion. Just wanted to remind everyone of a few facts:
1) Curent gen (PS4/X1) console life cycle expected to last approximately 8-10 years.
2) Consoles launched in November 2013.
3) Currently in April 2014....5 months.
The more this guy talks, the more I get the vibe that he won't deliver a game anytime soon.
Cool concept art does not make a cool game....and all we've seen is concept art.
It was a design choice to have the game run at 30fps.
The black bars are the to give the gamer a more cinematic feel.
Oh wait, sorry...this excuse was meant for another game.

There are a lot of trolls running around on an article reporting on a freaking update for a console most arguing don't own.

I loved all the Doom games....yes, even Doom 3.

A patch later updated the game to give an option of the flashlight attached to the pistol.

First it's "gimme proof of the power of the cloud".
Upon seeing a demo of the "power of the cloud" it's another 5 rounds of why it sucked, won't work, or some other contrived reason.
So much negativity for something that should be really exciting to the gaming community. Instead of excitement, we get a bunch of little babies making comments.

Microsoft is providing some nice support for the X1.
People have been begging Microsoft for this option.
I bet this will be announced at E3 wirh the update available at close of presentation.
I used two 16gb thumbs ticks as my additional storage for the 360.
They worked great and were not Microsoft or Xbox branded.
I'm sure they will offer inflated priced storage options with Xbox branding but they won't be the only option.
If it's not 1080p or 60fps it's not next gen.

That being said I was always disappointed that between him an Morgan Webb, he was the one that got screen time after G4. I woulda liked to have seen more Morgan Webb.....A lot more.

Huge Gears fan...but I doubt anything worthwhile would be ready. Maybe a logo and a release window (Fall 2015?). Other than that, news Gears most likely has little started. I'd almost rather they wait. After E3, there is still a lot of time left for 'later this year'.
This is gonna be a really exciting E3 for all companies. Can't wait.
Already pay for XBL so I quite honestly don't care. Ironically I don't do Netflix....I use Amazon Prime.
Now the question is: when this top box goes under because people realize they can play Candy Crush and the like on their cell phone, will Microsoft dig Amazon?
While i wont hold Microsoft to some gold standard, they apparently are not as bad as Sony.
And to make matters worse, according to the article AND comments...Sony is slow to support.
The PS4 hardware is top notch. While the X1 has received numerous new features and upgrades since launch. This is the trade-off.
Sony is a hardware company.
Microsoft is a software company.
