Oh my goodness. I can't believe my eyes. The PS version looks like true reality while I thought I was looking at Tetris on the X1. The difference was so amazing...blah blah blah.

Let me educate you about The Order and Microsoft. Nobody's worried about this as a Sony exclusive....we already played it 7 years sgo...it was called Gears of War.

I will say that while they are over the top, at the same time, they do look good and properly proportioned on screen. The characters got knocked for their big Locust stomping boots....nut the female characters added later had such tiny feet and legs.
Regardless of what Cliffy says, still excited to see what Rod will do for the next gen Gears.

No way Microsoft walks away from this. Establishing themselves in the living room of every home is their mantra. Wasn't it a comment from Sony stating that there will be a PS in every living room that prompted MS to start the XBox division? (Or so the story goes).
Sony built a nice gaming machine. Microsoft made an entertainment console that they can tie to their windows platform. Gamers have spoken.

Sony was giving away a ton of PS4s in a Taco Bell (USA) promo just prior to launch. I'm sure Nintendo has done their share as well.

You're right, the Sony exclusive of an MLB game is really gonna set those sales charts on fire.
100 games for ps4 in 2014 is nice...but if they are multiplats, arcade, android-esque, old ps titles on ps now, or games built for Japanese markets, this '100 games in 2014' loses a lot of its luster. is not like the quote was 100 AAA titles in 2014.
It'll also be a good test of the Microsoft servers as bigger games like Halo or Gears launch.

Same was said about Gears of War....as PS fanboys said it was a crap xbox game. Then rumors started going around that it could come to PS4...it was going to be major coup to get another great game. Now that the series was purchased by MS, it's come full circle and is now a crap game again.

I know they'll never change those stupid active tiles because it matches the direction windows is in.... But it certainly doesn't make navigation easy. I still miss the blades of the 360.

I like how you the in 'depending on the genre'. Gotta keep towing the company line since'The Order' is not 60fps. Had it been, I'm sure The Order would be held up as another graphical achievement.
The Gears franchise sold over 20m units on the 360. It was a system seller. Now granted judgment was a misstep, but if greats sells a fraction of their former glory..yes, it will help grow next gen.
Just like Uncharted 4 will grow next gen...Halo....Infamous. If these games sell millions of copies, like I'm sure they will, please explain to me how this won't help grow the next gen?
