Does that confirm this is current gen? I doubt they will take pre orders for a console which nobody owns nor is even announced.
The idea is that one beefy controller comes with every new system but you can buy regular controllers as extras to play with friends. If that's the case it's literally impossible for DualshockX to get a 1/4 tie in rate like Move did.
Obviously I'm just having fun speculating for now.
I think Media Molecule is working on new ideas. Whether that be integrated into an existing IP or not is the mystery.
There's always a chance of getting light feedback with an "open mic" like you get if you use the Playstation eye for a microphone online. We don't even know that it is a mic though.
And also I'd be SHOCKED if this didn't turn out to be the premium controller for the system. In other words the "First Player" controller; when playing with siblings only seniority gets to use the DualShockX. Haha.

How is that? Think about it. Why target Sony and Nintendo? How is it that 90 million Wii and 77 million PS3s sold in retail should be considered desperate? Xbox is the least selling and by a mile the slowest selling console this generation and last generation. This isn't even to factor the over 300m handheld consoles sold which Microsoft has no part of.

Off-topic, but Sony makes some of the best sound equipment I've worked with. No joke. I'm not what you'd call brand loayalist but I'm generally skepticle with stereo equipment and headphones that aren't sony.
It struck me as odd when I realized the psvita wasn't up to par with sony's sound quality track record. The built in speakers are fine but the audio out is quite low especially compared to their high end phones.
