I felt guilty for giving you Agree +Funny but that was tooo good.
On topic for what I expect on the 20th: Dualshock4, DualEye motion detec camera (ready your pitchforks), NextGen tech demos (I doubt we'll see legit reveals but fingers crossed for BF4 and first party games), and of course - the new console.
I have never agreed more with a comment than I do now with anime's comment. Kinect did promise interesting concepts at first but nothing delivered. The full titles proved to be hassles. The "Better with Kinect" slogan proved to be a lie. It's provided nothing but gimickry ever since MS decided to start pushing it.
But it did show promise at first. I really hope Sony actually makes sensible use of the DualEye or whatever it is if they plan on really pushing i...
The article smells suspiciously of MS PR more than anything.
I expect a lot more of these incoming.
350 is what Nintendo is charging for the Wiiu. I think 450 will be the sweet spot for PS4 and the xbox720 will be 400.
WiiU actually started out well in Japan. They were/are the sole reason it isn't outsold by og Wii every week. In other territories that isn't the case.
You guys do realize it's probably different people excited for stuff like eyetoys and not the same group who cannot stand kinect?
You guys act like N4G is one single entity, or a group of people form a single opinion.
Welcome back guys. Best of luck to the show. And no more shills, cool? Who am I kidding. @_@
You can still find the old models pretty commonly if you check craigslist and what not.
Mass consumers are idiots and gamers are cheap. That's how it is unfortunately.
Give it up, man. It's obvious to anyone who's seen your posts you've been trolling this board since you joined. If you want to talk success I could go into the fact that the Wiiu is stumbling hard and Nintendo as a business has nothing to fall back on except the handheld market if it fails, but that's a poor man's argument, so it's not worth the discussion.
Point being you should chill back and see what we get. I'm curius to see what Sony's pla...
Still though, they did well. And I doubt RROD resulted in more than 15-20 percent of total sales, if even that. So whatever they would have been ok regardless.
The Wiiu hasn't sold better than ps3 or x360 in any sense. I believe that was a rumor spreading before Nintendo published their financial reports but somehow it stuck around afterward. Just FYI.
Monster Hunter is a system seller,,, in Japan. Don't forget monster hunter games have rarely sold well in NA or Europe.
Oddly enough I think the best selling MH game outside Japan was on the Wii with a few million sold. Correct if I'm mistaken.
GTA has sold 10 million or so on psp despite hacking so that's a feat.
I read that Pikmin only sold 1 million copies worldwide. Even with the lack of games at the moment I don't think Pikmin 3 is going to make a huge splash.
Moreso than the games I think is the inevitability of a price drop. A lot of people weren't happy when the 3DS dropped in price a few months after launch, and it's the same situation here.
Slow sales in the wake of newer consoles = Price cut.
I think you're reading it wrong. He didn't insult anybody, really, he's just showing his ambition in this interview. By 'idiot plot' he meant that when the character makes a decision it should be a believable one, and not one that makes you scratch your head like 'Wtf, I would've just walked the other way, why is it that I'm FORCED to walk into this dang ambush when I, as the player, can see it coming but my character can't.'
It explain...
Good luck with that. I think you'll need it.
Heheheh.
A lot of people do care about this type of thing but if it means picking up support for the console then I think most fans are willing to let it slide. What really needs to happen is an official price drop around the same time they launch some of their real exclusives. That will probably position WiiU to perform a little better against the newer consoles.
A lot of people don't like when something they buy lowers in price significantly right after they spent their own money. While I understand that stance as an early adopter I support what Nintendo is doing in trying to entice new buyers with more attractive bundles. They need to pick up the sales somehow and this will be their way of doing that until the much anticipated price cut later this year.
Being an early adopter I think it's fair they waited to give the PSVITA a price drop. As a business you don't want your first supporters to feel burned.
However it has reached a point that I feel an appropriate price reduction is due.
