Look at the prices Apple charges for an extra 16gb in their devices.
Nuff said.
1) it's not made for gaming
2) without buttons real games are borderline unplayable
3) the highest rated 'games' are all decade old ports and cheap knock offs
4) overpriced
5) my vita cost half and plays deeper games, so how can an overpriced pad replace my console if it can't even match my vita......
a 16gb tablet sells for 600$, a 32gb tablet sells for 700$..... Now THAT's absurd...
Pretty much. Sad thing is Apple herds enough sheep to sustain them for decades of annual releases with minor hardware bumps.
I'd wrestle a bull for this to be true.
Both, as long as they have BUTTONS.
Long live gaming.
Not even the price of an iPhone. And the iPad is nearly 800$ yet Apple lays one out every year for iBots to flock to like flies on shit.
agreed. PS Vita is an awesome gaming device. Gamers left and right should be cherishing how far gaming has come but instead we get the media riding Apple's c*ck and pushing for overpriced tablets with shovelware games to make it's way into the gaming market.
I know this is a bit off topic but gamers should enjoy dedicated gaming while it lasts because if they fail, soon all we'll look forward to is Apple's annual overpriced upgrades to play weak *ss games. No ...
NA release please?
Glad to see Nintendo doing well today. I like to play my Nintendo. I wonder how well their second joystick is selling, because I'd be lost without it.
rated E for everyone
i hear they drop connection randomly and are a pain to use.
My list would look very similar.
Shouldn't you be saying 'rated E for everyone' and talking about Nintendo?
you're everywhere....
@thirstyforfanta On the 3DS they made you BUY the second joystick..
This is arguably the best launch lineup in console history dating back to the Sega Dreamcast. With 26 games and more to come, I think there's enough choices to go around.
That's my 2c
The UI looks really refined, maybe not the greatest but not bad, not bad at all.
yup, the thing is on another level for a handheld.
Smart phone gaming is nowhere on the level of dedicated handhelds. I hope handheld consoles don't die because I'll always play them rather than gaming on a phone.
Phones are not comfortable to play for extended periods, I know this from experience. The lack of physical controls and fingers covering the screen is also horrible. How anyone might think phones are better for gaming than actual consoles is beyond me. They are also extrememly expensive for inferior tech.
@LOGICWINS
That is horrible logic... Poor sales and sudden price drops are a HORRIBLE thing for gamers, especially those who enjoy the franchise. If a game doesn't at least recoup development costs that is a bad thing. Look at what happened to Resistance, I bought it day one and thought it was incredibly underrated, and now the team is forced to abandon the series. Yes it got a price drop but I couldn't care less for a lower price. I would have preferred it got a sequ...
