I get 9.5mbps so I should be good. I think the ceo of gaikai said the majority of games should run well at or around 6mbps, but I'll believe it when I see it because honestly Onlive ran like crap on my connection.
larger worlds, better animations, etc., will raise dev costs. The reason it's not more than 10% is because now the system is easier to develop for.
I don't know but I expect Nintendo to come with huge announcements this E3. They had to have anticipated the danger of competition coming to market this holiday so they'd have to invest appropriately to keep people interested.

The Wiiu is a good little machine but I think that if Nintendo wants a core gamer crowd they need to show us the benefits of owning a Wiiu over (or in addition to) other next gen platforms, aside from a lower entry cost. I don't think core gamers are fussed over entry costs.

I'm in the process of job searching so I don't miss out day one. Nobody else is going to buy me a damn PS4.
I live in America and I know plenty of people with Japanese consoles. Nobody likes paying for xbl anymore.
Unless Nintendo has some super top secret project which we have never seen before nor could even contemplate, it is very simple: drop the price. And I suspect that's just what they'll do.
After the PS4 announcement PS3 gets a large boost in sales? Since when does that ever happen? Sony's new marketing team is really paying off i guess.

So you guys know I'm not just making things up. Microsoft corp. is a documented astroturfer. They've been called out on reddit for it, too, posting constant adverts whether it be Halo, Forza, WP, you name it. They literally have hundreds of shill accounts, even thousands. It wouldn't surprise me if the majority of "This is shit compared to PC" eletist posts on PS4 videos are MS shills aiming for public slandering.

At this rate if Nintendo doesn't pull an ace from their sleeve they will eventually lose all third party support. And I hope this doesn't happen but it's going to take more than a few good games to secure a leisurely spot in the market. Decade old Zelda port and incredibly niche Pikmin isn't going to do. I do have high hopes for Monolithsoft's RPG game, though.

Can somebody please link me to a legit source which says they were running any of those games on PC?? I keep seeing people say this but they used the same Dualshock4 for all the demos, and I know for a fact they were running PS4 OS because the Guerilla dev uploaded to FB with the share feature.
It was all run on the PS4 development kit as far as I can tell.

Day one member here. The magic of PS+ for me is that I get so much stuff but I only try about 80% of it. I only ever play to the full extent less than half those games. The sub for that much content is worth it. The convenience of cloud saving and auto updates, plus huge discounts throughout the year makes the whole package a win. A lot of the discounts on Plus are often too good not to be taken advantage of.
And I don't really care if a game I already own goes free on ps...
Using xbox was a bad example. Sony has the same feature with Cloud saving and it works flawlessly and seamlessly. I think you could have used the example that Onlive sucked big time but from what's been said about Gaikai, even before Sony bought it, it seems like the real deal. Too bad I never had the chance to try it myself.
