BF3 pretty much maxes out both consoles. The reason why you think both games shouldn't look the same is because you have the wrong understanding of the capabilities of both machines. I don't think it's the video since all three are shown in the same quality and that was in real-time. It's clearly obvious that 1&2 have better lighting.
Forza 4 obviously has the best lighting though.
I'm not hating on the game but why does Forza 1&2 have better lighting than Forza 3? that makes absolutely no sense. I also noticed that the damage looks the same in all four games.
I remember Microsoft showing off this incredible vehicle destruction tech demo for the original Xbox but it looks like Turn10 have made no use of it.

I know it looks retarded but I've had a habit of typing it like that since the old fanboy wars in the OpneZone. Everyone had the habit of typing 'GOW' but it caused a lot of confusion with the God of War franchise so then we came up with GeOW.
No one at the time would refer to Gears of War as just 'Gears' and saying the full title felt more natural than shortening it down which is why no one ever thought of typing it out like you just did.

The Crysis 2 jungle mod looks better than Crysis 1's jungle. Crysis 1 looks good because the leaves look too glossy and big. Crysis 2 has a mixture of both which is much more realistic and lighting is much better as well.
