The only reason they got away with the in-game character screen-shot is because in it#s current build GTA5 looks almost identical to GTA4.
Before release however there should be a significant difference in everything and not just lighting.
Are you a child? is it really that hard to understand why it looks the way it does in GTA5 R* now have the power to create LS the way they truly envisioned it to look. It now looks more realistic and it'll be far more detailed and larger than the original LS.
The only reason SA looked the way it did on the PS2 was because of hardware limitations, and their design choices were based on those limitations.
They have far more freedom now so why would they gim...
What!? The game's already coming out this Friday? was the development time for this game like 1 month or what? I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be another crappy NFS game.
What's so lol about saying PS2.5? that was thrown around on this site for years so it's nothings new.
PS2's graphics were good for it's time but definitely not next-gen.
As if anyone was expecting a exclusive Nintendo title to look that good. I expect it look like a PS2.5 game when it's finished.
When the PSV logo comes up and the chimes start playing that's actually PS Vitas boot up theme. Everything after that isn't an extension.
I herd it during the TGS boot up demonstration.
Everything he says is actually true. I watched my friend playing BF3 yesterday and almost everything listed in this article I noticed but I didn't point it out to my friend.
The funniest had to be the magically appearing enemies but then again it's not as bad as UC3 with enemies falling down from the sky LMAO!
Can't wait for all the "When will Alan Wake up" comments to come back. I really do miss the open zone.
There was almost no difference in graphics from when he switched over to COD4.
Japanese really annoy me, they're the only ones that make announcements of announcements of announcements of announcements.
They even hold closed door events for closed door events.
Don't you mean gave us? since he hasn't given us anything new for ever!
Burnout 6
NFS: Underground 3
Midnight Club 5
These three arcade racers need to happen next year.
Step 1: Use the oldest camera know to man.
Step 2: Create an artificial snow storm using pieces of tissue/paper and a fan.
Step 3: Have a fit.
Step 4: While having a fit take the picture/video.
Follow these steps and you'll have a successful leak in no time.
My fat 60GB died, I re-balled it and it's been working even better than before for one whole year. Anyone who tries that ghetto hair dryer technique doesn't deserve to own a PS3 in the first place.
When you spend so much on a product it only makes sense that you would try to fix it the best way possible and not the dumbest way possible.
DS4 CONFIRMED!
This seriously sounds like damage control to me.
I did a side by side comparison and I can definitely say that there's a big graphical difference, lighting and texture detail looks so much better and his hair looks flippin amazing in the trailer (although it does look pretty good in the retail copy).
The scene where it shows him wearing a green shirt in a dimly lit room with Sully closing a book isn't even in the game, not to mention that he even looks so much older in that scene.
I wish at some poi...
I know this may be a bit off topic but the scene where Nathan Drake is wearing a green shirt and closes a book in front of Sully ins't in the game. Not only that but that scene has graphics looking even better than the pre-rendered cut-scenes in the game.
Why was it cut out and why did it look so much better? was it a a short CGI clip made just for the reveal trailer or what?
EDIT: Ok I just compared the scene where Nathan Drake is looking over the desert...
I've literally watched an entire playthrough of UC3 and I have to say the game is superb. Although I've pre-ordered UC3 I definitely plan on playing through it myself even though I've already seen everything.
Although I joined in Jan 2008 I've been visiting this site since late 2006 and the Open Zone is what finally got me to join. The comments on there were just flippin hilarious.
I used to be a big time PS3 fanboy back then and I can remember being a big target for the die-hard 360 fanboys, and targeting the biggest 360 fanboys was always my aim.
I don't know why but I find it really hard to come up with an incredibly trollish but funny comment now, wher...
