It's not just the new character but the story as well. No one will ever find out about what actually happened to Vergil or who Nero is and no one asked for a flippin reboot in the first place. I seriously hope NT gets shut down and I hope Capcom makes a big loss on this new game to teach both of them a lesson.
I wasn't referring to anyone in this article, my comment is aimed at the countless numbers of people who keep on asking for a FF7 remake.
I was just trying to point out that the reasons Kojma gave for not wanting to remake MGS1 applies to FF7.
I shifted to PC gaming just a few months ago and others have done the same in the past 2 years, however I do plan on keeping my PS3 until the PS4 comes out.
From there on it'll be a PS4/PC combo for me, but that's only if the PS4 has any good exclusives to offer because everything this gen has been rubbish apart from Killzone 2, Resistance:FOM, R&C:TOD, Uncharted:DF, MGS4 & Burnout Paradise.
The only reason I still have a PS3 is because of FFv...

After UC2 the only exclusive game I really wanted was R3, I have absolutely no interest in any other PS3 exclusive. Although I did buy UC3 it was purely due to hype which is also the reason I only did one playthrough of the game since it wasn't as good as UC2 (apart from the ship yard gameplay).
But apart from Resistance 3 I do intend on getting TLOU and FFvs13 since I have interest in both of these games.
The first thing that NATURALLY came to mind after watching the trailer was I am Legend, not this crap game. One idiot mentions Dead Island and everyone follows.

The game is now being developed on the Platinum engine and not the FOX engine, this is why the game looks noticeably worse than the earlier version of the game.
A lot of great franchises were ruined this gen so this is no surprise. There's a reason why I think this gen is worse than the one before it.
Yeah the lighting looked better and I personally think the ship yard gameplay was the best looking part in the whole series, but that doesn't mean it wasn't downgraded.
I did a comparison myself of the first cut-scene in the desert between the reveal trailer and the actual game and the reveal trailer was miles ahead. The texture quality and lighting was almost like CGI in the reveal trailer.

How did you assume it's PC fanboys? UC3 isn't the best looking game on consoles and apart from some lighting changes UC2 still looks better than UC3 to me.
TLOUS trailer is in-engine not in-game, there's a big difference, this time ND better leave all that 3D gimmicky BS out of the game unless they want to purposely downgrade the graphics again.

UC3 looks really good but the desert is NOT the best looking part, I personally think the ship yard gameplay is the best looking part because everything from lighting to texture detail looks amazing in that part.
UC3's original reveal trailer was said to be pre-rendered and in-engine but we all found out how much of that was true. It was in-engine but at some point ND downgraded the graphics to look much worse than the reveal trailer.

I'm definitely going to get this but it better look like that in-game, Uncharted 3 literally looks worse than it's reveal trailer and it was really noticeable throughout my entire playthrough (but the boat yard gameplay looks the best to me.
I hope this is exactly how the game looks with no changes.
As I've said before anyone who supports this game is basically ok with game developers completely changing a game when they release a sequel.
