Finally someone has said it! This is so true, they all waste their time making 2D side scrollers over and over again.
Anyone tom, dick and harry can make a 2D side scroller.
This is actually what I expect a next-gen R&C game to look like and it looks to be in same art style as TOD which is great!.
He said it's being ray-traced in lower resolution which what a couple of people on GAF said.
Ray-tracing with a couple of bounces isn't really that impressive and it seems like they only using it for reflections.
Now path-tracing is just mind blowing.
Sony's engineers and Mark Cerny would say otherwise, after all the PS3 had just launch and the engineering team were already going behind the scenes talking to devs indirectly about the PS4 saying the Cell was a mistake.
ND praises the PS3 in interviews yet they were first to point out what a disaster the Cell is and was.
I'd advise those with an open mind to not comment on this site due to the rabbid Sony fanboys that run it, your voice won't hea...
This has never mattered to the brain dead inhabitants of this website, whether N & MS are flying high with Sony rotting in in the sewers or the other way around these group of people will always see Sony as number one.
As far as I know not a single dev has the final dev kits and on top of that no one has fully optimized their engines for the PS4, and besides Sony's target is for every game to run at 1080p/30fps or 1080p60fps.
How could you die hard Sony fanboys not know that? have you even been paying attention?
Perhaps you guys miss this:
"Other PS4 games, including Guerrilla's first-person shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall, also appear to be targ...
I think this is great! as long as the new voice actor sounds unique and better than Hyter I'm for this change. David Hyters voice imo was getting progressively worse over the years and Snake started to sound like he had throat cancer or what I call a "Croaky Crocodile voice".
In MGS2 his voice was ok but after that Snakes reached the point of over-exaggeration.
They care more about the share button than the 8GB of ram. The share button doesn't create games, 8GB of ram does.
You seem to be totally unaware of the fact that Sony's first party studios played a major role in forcing them to abandon that poorly designed monstrosity that is the Cell in favor of better more efficient and easier to use hardware.
So rather than wasting a year figuring out to use the damn thing this time they'll spend more time on actually making games!
Sony's first party devs are far from lazy and they before any other devs asked for this chan...
Show this to a product designer and he'll laugh in your face. It looks like a high school graphics project.
Experienced product designers and product engineers just don't design like this, they would have done things like this in their early years (very early).
You want a functional product that looks conventional and stylish and that has the companies design philosophy, not some Tron looking backpack.
It looks like a child designed it, it's so over exaggerated and doesn't look professional at all. Product designers don't design like this and they never will.
Sony will follow their current design philosophy which is much better than this.
So now we're posting week old news?
LOL! This article is based on a thread on neogaff and he doesn't even give credit.
Everyone does realise that Forbes is a bunch of rubbish. Most of the so called facts in this article are fake and have no grounds in reality.
Why the first comment is getting so many disagrees is beyond me. The entire article is filled with fake facts posted by some random blogger yet the Sony fanboys will grasp on to anything that's anti-xbox.
Forbes posts nothing but melodramatic articles
But there's only a handful of Xbox fanboys & little to no Nintendo fanboys on this website so it won't be as funny as n4g in 2006.
This site is now mostly dominated by PlayStation fans so if you're looking for full blown fanboy wars you'll need to go somewhere else.
Being a PS3 fanboy in the Open-zone was hilarious back then but sadly the openzone has been removed, any attempts at making fanboyish comments now will result in your comment b...
The problem with most racing sims is the lighting and although the lighting in this looks good GT5's lighting actually looks like real-life.
I'm no fanboy but I've only ever been impressed by Polyphony's lighting and it has yet to topped. I've had my fare share of problems with GT5 but time & time again many devs make the same mistakes when it comes to lighting and PD seem to be the only ones who got it right.
I thought Forza 4's n...
You mean that game with blurry textures hidden under an enormous amount of motion blur? Is that even a game?
The so-called "jungle" in KZ3 looked like a warehouse with green and red paint smeared everywhere.
If GG wants to compete with Crysis 3 or 4 next-gen they're going to have to make a better engine that tops the CE3.
Why are all your comments stupid?
You're telling me that I waited an entire generation for Jak 4 only for it to be pushed aside to make way for TLOU? Why ND why?
I'm definitively getting TLOU but I wont be getting it day one like how I did with all the Uncharted games, I'm going to wait until it's in the bargain bin because this has just pissed me off.
It's like these devs just piss on your face and then getaway with it. All gen it's been "Oh! we'd love to do ...
There is no possible way that COD:G is a next-gen game, since the reveal I've been wondering whether it's a current-gen game because it looks worse than the Alpha version of BF4 and looks like a slight upgrade from Black Ops 2.
How Activison can get away with this is beyond me.
