True 720p at 60fps will most likely be the norm seeing as many games this gen run at near true 720p 30fps. So judging by that it shouldn't be hard for a good dev like ND to release a graphically stunning game running at true 720p 60fps.
You have to remember that true 720 just like 1080p can look really good. I personally would like to a see a new Burnout game running at full 1080p 60fps but I don't think that will happen (for consoles anyway).
So judging by all the rumours and this article I can firmly say that the most graphically demanding games next-gen will run at True 720p 60fps, and lower end games will probably run at True 1080p 30fps or 60fps depending on the game and what the devs can achieve.
Looking at Sony's current financial situation this is most likely true.
With all these advances in console engines I wished they'd revisit WW1/2 and make them more realistic. I always felt that their WW related games were never fully realised and they could now make a much better game with a true feeling "World War" atmosphere.
He's right though, a lot of people bought the game and now it's gathering dust. Obviously there are people still playing the game but many fans of the series including me stopped playing it due to the game being a "chore" to play.
"Chore" is a good word to describe GT5 and he wouldn't of used that word had he not owned the game which means hew most likely isn't trolling but saying it how it is.
UC has to be ND worst franchise and hope TLOU turns out to be much better.
UC feels so limited compared to J&K, even their Crash games gave you that massive world feeling.
But then that's assuming the same guy who wants a new IP posts another comment on the same article saying he wants a new iteration of an old franchise.

Nice acting there, anyways PC gamers have already accepted that PS3 exclusives do tend to look better than most console games but unlike you and many others we don't claim that every PS3 games looks the best on consoles.

Although RAGE had muddy textures I seriously can't deny that it still has to be one of if not the sharpest, smoothest and crisp games I've ever played on the PS3.
In terms of textures, lighting, particle effects, physics, animations, draw distance, story and gameplay it beats the hell out of KZ3.
KZ3 is nothing but a bunch of blur and badly textured characters and environments, anyone who isn't biased and has EYES can see that.
This stupid belief you guys have that nothing can look better than KZ2/3 is partly to blame why R3 sold like crap.

Well I don't blame them, Sony loyalists did't even bother picking R3 because they were too blinded by KZ3's motion blur to even notice it (even though KZ3 turned out to be worse than KZ2 in terms of everything).
R1 and R3 were great games and R3 looked 100x's better than KZ3 so whoever says otherwise is seriously blind. I guess shitty games this gen thrive and good ones don't.
