That's a nice thing to do in her honor.
Atari & NES.
Yeah, Spy vs Spy was an awesome game. Would really love to see some in-game pics/vids already.
Haha, that's top notch!
That's the saddest part. It already hurt them on PC sales, because PC gamers refused to support them anymore. So, with Black Ops 2, they brought back dedicated servers, but only for PC. Basically because they were forced to just to make a decent profit on PC.
Console gamers need to have the same type of restraint, so they have no choice but to add dedicated servers. Because trust me, if their console sales dipped enough, and gamers made it known that it was out of anger f...
2.5D FTW!
Very nice, it looks better than I initially thought.
The Fox Engine office looked more believable. Crytek's is very good too though, but doesn't look quite as photorealistic.
LOL.
Nice.
Sounds like it could be pretty cool.
I love the real-time action fighting engine. It looks really cool for a full-on rpg, being able to maneuver so freely and dodge and mount enemies.
The only thing I don't like is the character design. They look like a bunch of emo kids. What happened to the cool characters that were colorful and varied in style?
Yeah, and if they can't do it properly in 3D, then just keep the damn thing 2D or 2.5D. Imagine an OpenWorld Castlevania, with a mix of SOTN and Simon's Quest, where it has the full RPG elements and metroidvania style, and you can go to different towns and maybe a few castles, then the final castle is like SOTN's castle x2 in size. I wouldn't care if it was 2D or 3D, as long as they did it right, ofcourse if it was done perfectly in full 3D, all the better.
@georgeenoob, Too bad it's recently been mentioned that Project Spark is gonna have $$$ DLC, which will add tools and functions that should just be part of the game, just to dig into user's pockets. Microsoft always finds a way to ruin anything that could have been a good thing.
I hear you, there's big fans that will buy it, but it's still hard not to look at it from the other angle. I mean, just look at how they are already showing DLC costumes for the new characters, why wouldn't those just be included? And then they work on completely new ones to sell?
Like I said, if they'd even just allow costume mods, that would make them look less bad. They could still sell their overpriced DLC along with it, it'd just ensure they'd hav...
Good to hear.
What they say at the end of the article is exactly what I was thinking the whole time, they're probably going with Double Helix simply because they got them for cheap. The backgrounds are ridiculously bland and lacking in detail. I can't believe Capcom just gives their top franchises to these random devs like this.
Very cool that that PS4 tech demo was actually a project they're working on.
I wonder if LBP3 will go full 3D, and give that Project Spark on X1 and PC a run for its money.
LoL, as long as there is easy money to be made by mainly porting characters/stages, and adding only 1-2 actual NEW characters, they'll put it out there and collect $$$$$$$. Just like they've always done.
Do you really think them making MvC3, then less than 9 months later, releasing UMvC3, that wasn't upgradeable and had to be bought again was actually fan service???
I agree that no one deserves threats of violence. This is the community Activision fostered though. It's the idiots that are willing to pay $60 every year for the same outdated engine with different killstreaks and maps, and overpriced DLC. They don't get dedicated servers, just a horrible matchmaking service that's full of lag and disconnects.
These are the types of people willing to buy into this crap consistently every year, the type that will attack you immatu...
