Rockstar status: engaged. So excited for F7 and my One X preOrder. Project Cars also stepped up its new sequel which I’ve been playing on the PS4 Pro. Not quite as polished and pretty as f7 but the simulation is top notch and it’s not a bad looker either.
Well done, Forza. I played it at E3 and have the demo running in hdr on the One S w/ a g920 wheel equipped with clutch pedal and h-pattern shifter. Looks and plays fantastic. Seeing it on the One X is not only even better, it’s pure candy for the eyes and ears. Best Forza Motorsport yet, imo. Absolutely can’t wait til my One X shows up for even more sparkle.

Last time I checked Mario wasn’t hand drawn and 4k and needs to be heavily optimized to run on minimal hardware. That’s like calling out a bmw m3 for getting worse mileage than a Honda Civic.
they aren't really the same. they have aspects about them that are similar... like how the battles play out, the way the enemies move, react and talk are very reminiscent of Halo and even some of the environments and weapons... but it kinda stops there. That being said, the only thing that kinda bugs me about this article is the disc drive. Not because of games but because of movies. Disc drives are horribly slow and inefficient for games compared to solid state (by a factor of a lot) but for movies it’s a good opportunity to watch something as uncompressed as possible. I have the G920 for xbox one (and just ordered the g29 equivalent for ps4 for GT Sport and PCars2). Its a pretty decent wheel. Its probably the closest in quality to the likes of a Fanatec but easier on the wallet for a similar performance and build. I've seen them range on Amazon from 269-400 depending on configs and sellers. I'd recommend it though if the Fanatecs are too expensive (tho they're probably the overall best IMO). I’m gonna buy GT Sport for sure as I buy every Gran Turismo but I gotta be honest: compared to the very much stepped up project cars 2 that I just got and f7 just around the corner, gt sport feels the weakest.
I predict that pcars 2 will have the most realistic simulation followed by gt sport and then f7.
