literally every gamer i know personally (even ps4 users) are buying the one x. a lot of us in the studio i work at went to e3 and we were all blown away. pretty much almost everyone i talked to or saw at e3 was amped on the one x. even devs are amped on the one x. we do a lot of game advertising and in-game cinematics ( second son, gears of war, for honor and the last tomb raider to name a few) and the studios we talk to are really excited to push the hardware. i have both and both are fantastic. forza is the better package overall with more polish but the simulation and presentation in pcars 2 is excellent as well imo. the only thing thats weird to me in f7 is the career advancing/collecting. Its a little bit convoluted but ultimately doesn't detract from the rest of the game which is stellar.
Yeah but the one x is just a better machine than all of those and you can play your old games with BC and existing games get better performance even without a patch and you get Dolby atmos and 4k bluray. Both cheaper but not better in my opinion. And I own the Pro and the switch. Once you’ve played the One X in person, it’s hard to unsee it. Truly impressive. that doesn’t even factor in the game subscription services available on Xbox.

*shrug*. this is a full version increment? this feels like a .5 or something. no disrespect intended, just seems minimal for a full increment. The follow feature will be nice. you can do that on xbox one. i thought it would be pointless but its actually cool to go thru the timelines and see what people have been up to and comment, like, share etc.
Very minor complaints aside, im loving it. It is also gorgeous on the One S with HDR. Cant wait til the One X arrives so It looks and runs even better.
Also worth noting, the physics change when using a wheel vs a controller. When using the controller it’s a bit more forgiving. Using a wheel takes that down. With all the assists off and a wheel it’s still slightly easier than project cars but still really challenging.

Strongly disagree. It makes way too many sacrifices as a console to be portable and I gotta be honest, portability is a really low priority for me. It is the weakest hardware with the least number of features, a laughable online service and the biggest games coming up won’t be released on Switch. The ones that are (like FIFA and Doom) are completely lackluster or gimped compared to other versions.

The HDR passthrough is fantastic and much needed feature. its a bummer that you have to replace the whole unit to get it though... at least for owners of the old version that have HDR enable TVs. They should offer trade-ins or something.

Seems like that’s performance worth the extra $100 (not to mention the bluray and audio). Less than the cost of 2 games difference of the Pro and you can have better performance for the next few years on pretty much every game released for it.
It seems in this day and age people only love or hate things. 1 star or 5. I also think a lot of games (and systems) get tons of hate they don’t deserve.
I think it’s fine to not like something but people turn something they may not like into out and out abuse.

K here goes. For starters it’s not even launched yet and it already has more native 4k titles than the PS4 pro which occasionally gets a true 4k title.
