It uses dynamic scaling on HQ mode. The Pro uses dynamic scaling in both modes but achieves a higher resolution in favor resolution mode (obviously) but isn’t native 4k.

Word on the street is and has been native 4k so its a win. Not only is the 4k version native, it still has headroom for higher rez textures, LOD and more. Beastly.

considering 60 million ps4s in the world and only 1 million psvrs doesn't sound great to me after a year. thats 1/60th of the install base. developers aren't going to love how constricted that distribution is.
We agree here fo sure. HZD and UC4 (among others) showed us how much games can be dialed up on the Pro and they are amazing and better than on base hardware. I personally have been a bit disappointed with the amount of titles getting proper Pro support as of late, and some of the enhanced titles seem to skimp a bit on the Pro versions.
Bummer for the Pro I guess. This is kinda where the X wins beyond the extra power. Even if it weren’t patched on the X, it would still be able to run the game super fast and use all of the machines available power to keep it from dipping. Did you read the whole thing?? Cuz they say it’s missing a lot and actually basically saying Gran Turismo is the last of the racing games to implement what pc racers were doing. It’s basically playing catch-up.
of course. just like more people drive toyotas than bmw's... and exactly why i drive a bmw and ordered the one x. if you can afford more, the experience is better. some people don't care about high end 4k tvs and what the picture on those tvs are doing. some people like myself do care and want to compromise as little as possible. after all, if you buy a 4k HDR tv, you obviously care about quality and if you have a said tv for quality reasons, you want devices that will actually use...

i feel the same way about the switch. i have an xbox for forza ms/horizons, gears of war, soon to be PUBG (cuphead is also amazing), and now i'll have an xbox one X because I want gtaV, all the assassins creeds, destiny 2, pcars 2, anthem, red dead redemption and the rest to run their best without buying a pc. everybody has a reason and a motivation. everybody also has the same internet talking points about debate. i agree with you about gamingbolt but after seeing f7 running on the One X, playing gt sport demo and pcars2 on my ps4 pro (and also playing gt sport at e3) i have to agree with them on the title. Even f7 running on my One S looks fantastic without all the up'd textures, lighting effects and cube mapping you get on theOne X and PC
I am pretty happy with both the one S and the PS4 Pro aesthetically. I have a feeling my Scorpio addition one X is gonna look svelt tho with that matte black diamond texture pattern and minimal design queues.

DriveClub vr was straight up garbage regardless of anyone’s opinion of the regular version good or bad. Re7 isn’t a vr game, just a game that supports the hmd - in that sense you could call tv shows vr too if you watched them in a headset. Batman is a fraction of a full game and Robinson reviewed mediocre at best. Also. Gran Turismo only supports one car??? Wtf is that? And I’m a fan of Gran Turismo. I’m used to 16-64 cars on track depending.
Name one that’s a worthwhile experience that’s not a glorified demo. A must-have psvr only title that would make me go buy $850 of playstation kit ( if I didn’t have a PS4)
