i feel like the hardware team had a blast making the One X. Its basically a hotrod One S and I'm sure it must of been awesome taking that existing piece of kit and cranking on it to get that power... like installing a supercharger on your car own car. way to represent with a print on the motherboard.

seems like a pretty good set of enhancements. You get better quality AO for less twitch, better/more antialiasing and some more effects. It's not native 4k but probably the next best thing (maybe?). I'll be curious to see a One X patch and whether it can do native 4k and or high/ultra texture settings etc.

GT fans have blinders on and don't even realize that GT was lapped (hehe puns) years ago by Forza (the advantage of having multiple consoles is true hands on experiences with ownership vs reading stuff online). I've played GT Sport on the Pro and it is awesome. Having played all of them at this point I’d say PCars2 has the best physics, forza (on one x at least) has the best visuals and the most cars and tracks and Gt sport has arguably better physics than forza (by a hair) but is the weakest in terms of content.
The fanboys have tunnel vision with GT regardless of its passing as king so it will probably sell well despite its slim offerings. Forza has a huge base at this point so ITV will sell well - especially with the one x onl...

Great to hear. Changing the VIP system from 6 was one of my few complaints (also the career progression is a bit gratuitous) with an otherwise fantastic title.
as a ps4 pro owner viewing this objectively i agree with him. they gimped the system to hit a precious price point that will end up doing more harm than good comparatively for performance and visuals. When you see the One X in person running, it makes you realize the disparity. I really wish they would have charged more for the Pro and gave it more power, PlayStation users have always reveled in superior performance and the desire to hit a low price point for a “premium” upgrade is weird.....
personally i think psvr will sunset over time. i don't think we are there yet. at least not on consoles.
