Way of the Samurai 3 @ $20.00
Baroque @ $13.00
Only two games there worth looking at.
It is worth noting that if you like cheap games, you should check out Amazon's Warehouse Deals. Earlier today, for example, I was able to buy a copy of Super Mario Galaxy for $20 (shipping included) which saved me about $25.
Well, yeah... but I didn't mean that it literally looks better. More that the content--story premise, characters, art design--looks far more appealing to me.
Visually, the level of detail with Graces f is only slightly less than that of Vesperia. It looks good, even if the art design is... pretty meh.
I sure hope so. Graces f is getting released outside of Japan, but to be perfectly honest, Xilia looks much, much better. I really hope it leaves Japan.
That's my point entirely.
It really says something about the 3DS library that a list of the "top 10 games" would describe games on that list as disappointing. And no, I can't name 10 games better than it--which, again, is my point. The 3DS has only 3 or 4 good games; any list of the "top 10" will be filled with more than a little mediocrity.
Exactly: DS3 is infinitely better than Diablo 3, because, due to being released, Dungeon Siege 3's quality is, you know, qualifiable.
I really can't understand why such an awful game is getting such good reviews.
>Square Enix
Oh, that's why.
Top... 10? I think most people would be VERY hard-pressed to come up with a top 5.
Gotta love this quote: "Pilotwings Resort was perhaps one of our biggest disappointments on the 3DS" ...and yet it's still one of the 3DS' top 10 games? Yeah... right.
The PC market is already fading away. No, it won't ever vanish, but it's going to get smaller and smaller and smaller as people who use computers casually switch to simple tablets like iPads, and people who use PCs more seriously are moving more and more to the laptop side of things. The era of a "personal computer" or a "home computer" is rapidly vanishing.
In 10 or 15 years you'll be bent over a park bench, telling your children stories about...
Every year is a bad year for fanboys. Every day is a bad day for fanboys--they're incapable of enjoying their favorite hobbies, how pathetic is that?
And I don't get these sentiments against Nintendo. Nintendo isn't acting any differently now than they did in the GCN era, the N64 era, or SNES era, or the NES era, for that matter. Nintendo... doesn't do change well. At all.
3D games certainly are expensive to make.
Personally, I think Nintendo is marketing the 3DS all wrong. The 3D thing should be the feature they never talk about--they should focus more on the augmented reality stuff and motion controls.
Honestly, I've been surprised at how good some of the 3DS games are. I wasn't expecting much from DoA, but it's actually a VERY accessible game. Touch-controls for a fighter? Yes please.
Biggest surprise was Samurai Warriors Chronicles. Tons of content and customization, and really cool strategic gameplay. Really came out of left field to me.
But, yeah, it does have a pretty weak library ATM if you ignore OoT. I don't think it'll ever rea...
Only if you're able to keep your DS at the precise same angle relative to your eyes as you move it around.
I only ever use the 3D effect (for games like OoT) for cutscenes.
But, damn, this is one hard game to play. The more I play it, the more I wish I was playing an update of Majora's Mask.
Not that I favor one over the other--I just want both. The whole time-travel + Ocarina aspect of these two games really puts it a BIG step over e...
Yeah, still not much there.
As far as I can tell, there's Skyward Sword, Dragon Quest X, and then the Wii is done.
Of course, those two titles will likely be more than enough to justify owning a Wii.
Assuming DQX actually gets released outside of Japan.
lol, anyone actually read the review? It's shit. Here are some highlights:
"fter a rather long and dull opening cinematic, you are thrown right into a battle with no tutorial or explanation of how to control your character."
"Once you’re through that, you get your party of four, all starting at level 35, and having a massive pool of ability points to use in order to set up your skills list, picking from a selection of 8 different abilitiy s...
Yeah, I hate that.
N4G wouldn't be N4G without shit users making shit comments about shit articles.
The article itself certainly is bullshit. I can hardly understand the point they're trying to make.
"According to the French brand manager at Nintendo of Europe, NoE had plans to bring Xenoblade Chronicles to E3 2011, but Nintendo of America didn't allow it. "
...So Nintendo's Europe division didn't want to display Xenoblade at E3 (in AMERICA)... so Nintendo's AMERICAN division DID display Xenoblade at E3. In America.

EA Sports...? This man's opinion is worth less than the typical N4G fanboy's.
I don't really think they're in competition. The PSV's controls make it much more suitable for action games (first and third person; sim combat, etc) than the 3DS could ever be, while the 3DS's touch controls AND dual-screen make it much better suited to RPGs and adventure games.
The DS and PSP complement each other perfectly. The only real question is whether or not the PSV will see that same lack of 3rd party support that the PSP saw in the first few years. ...
You must have a really sucky imagination.
Picture this: someone really likes movies.
This someone buys a 1080p HD projector and 7.1 surround system to fully enjoy his or her favorite movies.
This same person then buys a PS3 for the media center capabilities (saved movies, netflix, blu-ray, etc.).
Not only is that plausible, IIRC, way back when the PS3 first came out, this kind of person was the main demographic buying PS3s. ...
