She disappears for the rest of the game, only to be rescued in the final act, of course?
*sigh*
It'd be nice to have her tag along for the adventure. That was fun in Spirit Tracks. Really helped give both her, and the game, and Link for that matter, some much-needed personality.
And with regard to this article... I'm just going to refer everyone to Zelda Informer. Google it. (I think it's
If you're a real gamer, you ought to reconsider both of those opinions.
Yes.
Also: video walkthrough? Every single mission is the same thing.
What are you, 12?
I think the problem is that we use too many different rating standards.
In the United States alone, we've got separate rating standards for games, movies, and television--and no standards for literature.
We should only have ONE rating scale to be used with ALL media, judging each book, movie, game, or TV show by the SAME criteria.
Isn't it a no-brainer?
My money is on this current generation being the "last," and the one to follow being the final nail on the coffin.
Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft have all shown that they have no idea what the future of gaming is, and there are so many horrible trends in the industry I can't help but feel that the industry is due for another crash.
And soon.
...Does anyone actually give a shit about spot-pass or friendlists? Really?
Even the most hardcore of Nintendo fanboys (those morons saying that it had a strong launch library) have to admit those are pretty pointless.
Well, look at that.
Not only is NoA saving me $50, but I'll get to play a better looking game, too.
...An 8/10 after going on and on about what a great game it is, and only backing up the score by saying you don't like the (optional) gyroscope motion controls?
Good show.
Dunno. Looks like a douche, and has the name of a douche, so odds are he's a douche.
So... new Femshep romance option?
If motion control is the future, why do so many Wii games go out of their way NOT to include motion controls--or worse, why are there so many Wii games that don't use motion controls, period?
Rhythym Heaven? That's the game you bring up?
...
Goddammit.
Dragon Quest, people. Dragon ****ing Quest.
Multiplayer games are only dominant if you look at a very, very narrow subset of games.
Like typical casual shooters.

Oh.
Like many of the DS and 3DS features, you don't need it, and it's vastly inferior to other aplications/devices. Sound tools, photo editing, cameras, chatting, etc. are all unneeded, extraneous bits.
Obviously they're not needed.
They are nice to have every once in a while, however. I, for one, am sick of Gamers who try to argue that their games and hardware should have LESS features. I'm talking Rainfall haters, Sony apologists, the lot of ya&...
Why do they always wait for red?
Also... it's just a new color, not a new model. A new model now would be seriously pathetic. Though a part of me does wish Nintendo would hurry up a 3DS comparable to the DSiXL.
Or maybe my decades of gaming have left me with higher standards than someone named "RedHemi300c?"

...They really don't make them like they used to. Intros or games. Really, considering how impressive FS2 is today, I'm pissed off that the genre died. Imagine what a Freespace game would be like with TODAY's technology!
Best.Game.Ever.
...I would hope anyone would recognize a Picasso as being more valuable.
The chief problem with stealing one is selling it. If you don't have connections, it'd be impossible to get rid of something that hot.
Freespace 2.
Rise of Nations.
Ocarina of Time.
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.
Those games have my favorite intros.
If I had to pick one from this generation, though... I don't know. Most intros lately have been pretty... dull. I'd probably say Valkyria Chronicles or Dragon Quest IX.
...You can really tell how long someone has been playing games, or the how few games someone has been playing, by their opinion on dubs.
Youngun's ain't got no sense of perspective.
Check out the Love Hina anime for one of the worst English dubs in human history. Or Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 for a more recent example. (Or the Gundam Seed/Destiny anime, for examples).
