ms and nintendo must be making a killing on their accessories.
gears of war for graphical jump.
project gotham racing 4 for technical excellence.
crackdown or fable 2 for art.
good job phantom disagree, how about an explanation as to why?

But you seem to be implying that the 360 install base should be enough to cover difference between 2 titles, even when one title holds a significant advantage over the other.
The second point is that you're downplaying the sales of killzone 2, yes it did well, but I personally thought the game would sell well over 500K in it's first 24 hours, what more could an american gamer want, great graphics, good story, lots of hype, in the largest fps market in the world. That's like a p...
Most people, and if you don't you're an idiot, would agree that the ps3 is a lot better for fighting games, it has a better dpad and the button layouts are better. Conversely, the 360 is a lot better for fps games, which is why you see cod waw 360 still on the charts. But not only that there were a lot of 360 games released recently, race-pro, star ocean, stoked snowboarding, halo wars, re5 etc.
That's a lot of games to buy, so some people are going to skip over other titles an...
you mean the fact that the first was labled "teh haloz killah" and has had a successful psp game. It's the third game in the series much like halo 3. I wouldn't say it'd unproven, but that the games in the series have 'under-preformed' till killzone 2.
Still, I'm glad it did well, the game is very solid.
Because I can point to games like.
Left 4 dead
Halo 3
Gears of war
mass effect
forza 2
fable 2
etc, all won several great awards in gaming. Just because the ps3 has recently had a couple great games, doesn't mean the 360 is succeeding on price alone. If i could I'd nominate halo wars for being one of the most innovative rts games to date, it's the first rts experience that actually works well on consoles.
right now I'm playing
xbox 360:
stoked
star ocean 4
halo wars
re5
wii:
madworld
ps3:
killzone 2
st4
So honestly I can not complain about the games on my 360, considering I had the option of buying 4 exclusive titles released within the last month (for the 360). If I were you I would re-evaluate my arguments.
killzone 2 = fps, currently the most popular genre for console games.
Halo wars = rts, currently the least popular genre for console games.
Both did well, both parties should be happy.
I should sue for copyright infringement! ._.
Name one athiest who's killed in the name of god, and I'll debate my beliefs with him.
And on that note why would one want to debate beliefs with a person who's beliefs permited catholic priests molestation of children.
Many have become better people with more fullfilling lives after becoming athiests, infact there's a direct correlation between obtaining a higher education(ie bettering oneself in the pursuit of knowledge) and the adherence to no particular faith...
Quoted from the article:
"According to the WND report, one unnamed “concerned mother” found that the inclusion of same-sex marriages raised questions in her six-year old daughter that she wasn’t ready to answer."
What question could the child ask her parents such that it would be easy to explain for straight marriages but hard for same sex marriages?
Time takes money, and not every developer has the backing that bungie, kojima, and other well known developers, or 1st party developers have. So without these 3rd party engines making games cheaper, we may never see those independant firms making games that tend to be more risky and innovative.
Not only that most games have roughly the same development time whether or not they use an inhouse engine, speed helps developers provide more content in a game, and in the end making ga...
the brown look that gears seemed to popularize for example, isn't because of the UT3 engine but because gears was the first blockbuster nextgen game, so developers tried to replicate it to garner their own hits.
Mass effect and mirror's edge both use the ut3 engine, neither suffer from the brown effect and both are complete polar opposites with regards to gameplay, each offer a new experience never seen last gen, one with unlimted branching in it's story, the other being the f...
Middleware are such things as lightsprint(used in the upcoming LA noir), havok physics, endorphin(used to replicate human motion in games like gta4/star wars force unleashed), bink video, etc. If anything these middleware is increasing innovation this generation.
If developers are using 3rd party engines (like ut3), people had no problem last generation with games like splinter-cell which uses unreal 2, or the plethora of titles based off the renderware engine. Or even today, g...
halo would never leave the top spot if you included all the multiplayer and split screen action that the game gets. If you do into social bigteam theres always 3 or 4 people playing in groups.
you see, halo has the pick up and play ability but no console fps game has as much depth as halo. There are hundreds of tricks that you need you need to learn about if you want to play with the best, grenade jumps, boosting, beatdown timers. And theres a reason it's played in leagues, few games have the strategy required, holding the proper power weapons can make or break a match.
Also, there isn't "auto aim" they use tracking to help nullify latency problems that might o...
raving rabids, red steel.
I had no idea that halo wars, and a halo 3 expansion pack were considered a lot of halo related games being released in 1 year.
omg, you're so right, it is being milked. Honestly, dude, you want milk, how about making 2 games, them seperating them and making fans pay for each individual part...
or how about making a demo that costs half the price of a full game but only features 1/10th the content.
If you want real milk, you go to SOE, and buy eve...
While not a big fan of your games, I have to admit, your tech keeps looking better and better with each release.
