He was listing multiplatform games he'd rather have then exclusive.
Maybe you should learn to read his post before quoting it and trying to find fault.
They're getting some help from realtime worlds as they do.
I think Microsoft has A LOT of stuff going on that people don't know about and they're doing a really good job of keeping it quiet.
I love to see what Ruffian is working on and Smith and Tinker.
It now does 60 damage, even on miss, which can get a sniper down to 5hp in 2 hits or kill a scout. Also picking up metal recharges the cloak.
The have such a large back you can just side swipe them half the time.
Personally I think splintercell Was the better stealth genre since it's inception.
And while Halo 2 may not have done anything revolutionary to push the genre halo 3's video feature is an example of how bungie is taking videogames to the next level.
Like I said, Metal gear solid is the expansion of the stealth mechanics we found in games like zelda. You know, the hide behind bush and track the gaurds pattern so not to get thrown out, except instead of being thrown out they shoot you.
Sorry to break it too you but MGS didn't invent 'avoid the enemy' gameplay or 'stealth'.
Welcome to the sad thruth of gaming, unless you preform a paradigm shift in the the genre your didn't event it. Metal gear is just another...
I feel the stealth mechanics are shameful, the story pedantic and the hype unimaginable.
Of the original MG games the 'stealth' is more or less the equivelent of the avoidence parts in the legend of zelda games. The only reason we considered it stealth was because the genre.
And GWAVE,
Just like halo right? not on PS therefore overrated.
The only use would be payload maps as most of the time a sniper needs his speed and is usually in an unreachble place anyways.
That would explain the ps2 jump.
The way NDP track it's numbers aren't based on 'month' but by a particular abount of days, for example, March NDP is actually 35 days worth of sales, which means other months have to lose dates too.
The time of the year is relatively slow for any consumer electronic, only now do we see the ramp up of Blockbuster films, games and electronics.
tax season...
The list goes on.
When windows crashes, it gives you an error...
When a mac crashes, it doesn't tell you anything.
Mac commercials are such BS.
It's clear you're a fanboy that just boosted your bubbles via multiple accounts.
Every post you make is about 360 games being bad, or not important and ps3 games being the best thing since slice bread. Just stop.
It was by no means a bad game, it had solid graphics, good gameplay mechanics and the co-op was interesting and new, and at the game was well over 10 hours which is a feat in itself this day and age.
However with that being said, the game just felt like it was deserving of the xbox and not the 360. Still a good 8/10 game but then again it was also a launch title.
wasn't Beyond good and evil an adventure game, I don't remember that much running and a lot more staff swinging and photo-taking.
I'm just pissed off that silicon knights haven't provided any DLC to keep the game fresh or fix some of the class balance issues.
Lots of people play NwN too.
As for rts games, Most games don't have to wait 10 years for a sequel so it's hard to tell whether or not they would be played for 10 years, I'm sure civ would have a healthy following to this date without sequels.
As for companies that make games people would play 10 years from now, I'd add...
starcraft 64
justice league task force.
the death and return of superman...
should I continue?
I thought there was a lot that GT5 could do, while the replay's look great, the actual gameplay is comparably worse and not much of an improvement over other games.
Though i'm likely to be bubble busted for this, I personally think gt5P was barely better looking then pgr4 and the enviroments in pgr were much better. And that forza still has the best customization and physics model(after GTR3) for. While GT has the largest track list and car count.
The casual games arn't going to be the one announced at e3, the one to be announced at e3 is different.
Halo wars is a completely different genre, it's far more removed from the other halo games than any of the mega man and zelda games combined.
In megaman it's platform while enemies float around, kill enemies face boss.
In zelda same thing, lock on to enemy, hack and slash, kill boss.
And the different amount of ways you can play and kill enemies in halo eclipse both zelda and megaman. Until you take an indepth look at the deisgns on each, don't sta...
