it was like a good version of dynasty warriors or w/e.
alan wake?
and just like COD:MW2 sold consoles I'm sure ME2, Fable 3, and Halo reach will all accomplish something.
isn't this just HHG white and nerdy edition.
It tends to be more a platform and hardware expo, where people show off new features on existing hardware, or new products.
More then likely if anything will be announced it will relate to PSN and the sony motion wand, or possibly new psp hardware.
Same goes with MS, expect natal stuff, and some possibly live rumors.
I really like the concept art from cry on, and I'm disappointed that's not his new title.

so much potential.
i don't think bungie has anything to do with 'halo 4'.
Unless you have a pc capable to play those games at the same setting or higher, which most people dont, then it's not multiplatform. See how it works, it works with anything. The games were released in 2009, I can buy them now, import them and play them. I don't see how it's a 2010 release.
Broken logic for the win.
and he's still missing games like
tropico 3, kuf2, NNN2, zeno clash, divinity 2, metro 2033, risen...
rare...
then rare?
I see your point. Rare is making it, just like they did before.
if scc, and ME are multiplatform then yakuza 3 and wkc are 2009 titles, since they've already been released in japan. And if you're going to include modnation racers, why not throw in joyride for the 360? And what about games like NNN2, and perfect dark HD?
I just don't understand what type of demarcation you're using to justify ME2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Metro 2033, and Mechwarrior as being a multi-platform title, it seems pretty console exclusive to me.
in fact, the majority of the staff was working on reach even while odst was being developed.
I don't know why people are surprised by this.
I thought that it was, funding should be alright, since the franchise is owned by MS, they should be able to get backing, and piranha games seems to working hard on it.
And even if it is better on pc, the fact that's it's a well known franchise adds brand recognition to the 360, and for some, especially on this site, that's more important than if the game is even of quality.
Like mechwarrior, alan wake, and crackdown 2 on the 360. And I thought they were making a valkyria chronicles 2 for the ps3, and the agency. Maybe also include some of the upcoming psn/xbla titles on both, like joyride and perfect dark HD.
Blizzards last game was released 5 years ago. Why aren't you moaning about them? I bet it's only because valve develops on the 360 but not the ps3.
when was the last starcraft game released? When was the last diablo released? Why not make the same argument against them? Hell, in 5 yeas blizzard has produced 2 expansions for wow. How is that any different then valve and making 2 expansions for hl2 in 6 years?
Upon the release of episode 2(2007), valve has also produce...
look at tf2, and the tf2 blog, few if any games get that type of support 3 years into their life.
AFAIK valve is currently looking at incorporating new means of communication for their games, including sign language for deaf people. I don't think you understand how involved a process like that might be.
They also continuously update their engine, and provide the largest library of tutorials and documentation for any engine so that people can make the best mods they c...
then you'd know they're not console fanboys. Honestly, it seems like you might be the fanboy.
Valve always put their products and fans first, so when it comes down to developing a game they try to do everything in house, to ensure quality. When they don't have the resources, or the experience on a platform the shy away from it for several reasons:
1. it takes time and money, and as we all know, time is money, and valve time is extremely expensive.
2. the...

But my point is that 2k is claiming that originality of both setting and story are what makes it shine.
Well the story is almost identicle to system shock 2(not saying it's a bad, just saying that it's not as unique as they claim), and the setting, while unique, is ultimately a steam-punk underwater version of the cyberpunk starship in ss2. It's still just a generic corridor shooter, but instead of space beyond the walls you have ocean, and it's lined with art-deco inspired theme...
When companies come out saying that their product is usually doing great, but provide no external data other than that... it's a bad sign.
Case and point MS with the vista.
And that might change the overall structure of the pc version but I doubt the pc version will be gimped with regards to technical prowess and scope.
it might mean a more linear path in some sections but the idea of verticality intrigues me, and might offer some much needed variation in the crysis wash - rinse - repeat scheme of things. (really i loved the first one, but most missions consisted of a small town or outpost with an objective, i found it got repetitive way too quickl...
the same candidates trying to spin the "pc 360 exclusives aren't exclusives" argument again. Sigh, they're exclusives, just like a wii ps3 only game is exclusive, or pc ps3 game would be exclusive.
