Don't get this people.

Time moves on. Hardware is getting more powerful and more accessible. Games are getting bigger, more complex, more detailed, less loadings. Everybody asking for better 4K then just some rough update on textures. And then when some studio brings an AAA game, designed from scratch to take advantage of 4K and HDR, they complain that this games are taking more storage and more hardware resources. Go figure this ppl logic...

Very interesting article. Would be nice if you could share the links for the source code too.

It is ironic that the so famous prediction that consoles are doomed to extinguish might end became true by the initiative of the consoles manufactures themselves.

If something PS4 outstanding sales performance proofs is that there is still a high demand for dedicated consoles. So I thought everything Sony needed to do was to maximize this success by giving the best support in terms of content. I thought PS4 high sales combined with a more easy to work and well balanced arch...

For me, Uncharted is like GT. Super amazing photorealistic graphics, good physics simulation but alot of gameplay elements are a balanced like semi-arcade gameplay. So I think stealth in Uncharted 4 is just there to work good enough for some approaches, but the all point of game is to be Indiana Jones style :P

Uncharted 4 doesn't require skills? Jesus! At least give the credit to the millions that already played the game. So the game improved a lot in gameplay including new features such as the rope, much better shooting and cover mechanics, even more opened areas allowing stealth approach, a lots of exploration and claiming and jumping as usual, but with more robust level design, etc...and you say this game doesn't require any skill. I mean, you even produce that opinion by your rough expe...

Exactly because everyone have the right to their opinion, is perfectly normal that there are people that don't like this games, therefore don't like Uncharted 4.

So I played the game and I read the review and my clear conclusion is that this guy just didn't like Uncharted 4, much because it seems he doesn't like this type of games to begin with. He even admits to struggle to finish the game, which is something completely ackward to say in respect to this gre...

You also need a PS4, and you also need to pay the electricity bill, and also the house rent, so I guess you're right.

So now that this option is available, the problem for most of the people that seems to care about it is why it took so long?

People will never get satisfied and that's why meaningful purchase options like this are so successful !!!

Different use cases.

I would say that in PC paradigm where you're so close to screen, resolution differences are much more noticeable and we are also more eye sensitive to that changes.

Is not even closer the scenario of a living room where playing a game in 900p or with dinamyc resolution is in most cases indistinguishable from native 1080p at normal TV distance.

Off course in some cases if you are careful enough a 1080p will always repr...

In my opinion people are seeing this in wrong perspective.

PS4 is a hell of a deal for the money and a very well architectured machine. Still people demanding 1080p/60fps like it was a no brainner for such a "cheap" one all closed machine.

I just think that FPS influences gameplay more then pure resolution. So one good evolution from previous generation should have been made on FPS side, like making 60fps mandatory and adjusting resolution to the hi...

"...it needs to sell 130+ million units in just 3-4 years..."

PS2 sold 150M over 10 years life cycle. Why PS4 have to sell 130M in 3-4 years?

I think you also need to upgrade yourself, not just your PC.

Sony approach with PS4 changed alot from PS3 era. Games currently showed are games that are set at most for 1 year release, and they have being showed running in actual hardware.

The game is still in development and of course PS4 is very capable to bring to life the vision of Naughty Dog. This is just their first native game on PS4 and future titles trough this generation will keep raising the bar o...

@RustedMan
I played this game on Tokyo Indie Fest and it's amazing. The level design it's High Quality and the gameplay is rock solid.

I don't understand what are you criticizing here. Also don't understand the concept art argument or Braid and Limbo comparations. Also played this games and that's why I don't understand your point.

Mighth No.9 is also a indie game. That's why they asked for funding on kickstarter. Mr. Ken a...

** "It does not take a mathematical genius to figure out how, again according to the only comparative, the balance tilts heavily towards the Wii U." **

No it doesn't. But it requires at least some brains to avoid to write such a wrong analysis.

What's the point of filling the WiiU list with average games and even DLC's like MK8 DLC Pack 1, and not including some well known Ps4 games.

And if you even care about metacritic...

What's wrong with people?

1) The Last Guardian never had a release date.

2) Sony never said nothing about The Last Guardian besides giving polite answers that is still in development every time media asks.

Also everthing was shown was a trailer/teaser few years ago. Wha...

Gameplay apart...

Native resolution of The Order 1886 matches your 1080p TV, no upscale needed so you're taking advantage of best picture fidelity you can.

Games that run at 900p are upscaled to match your 1080p TV.

I agree that you may not notice the difference at naked eye unless you have both systems side to side. Nevertheless it's good to know that PS4 is capable of run native 1080p games out of the box and the biggest point of di...

At this moment I am not shocked with the chance of the overall quality of the game don't be that good.

But I am particulary shocked with the quality of the reviews from major sites like Kotaku and Gamespot. Their reviews were a complete dish of the game from start to end. Which seems that all sites are just following all the hate that was generated by this game that I still don't know how it started.

If new IP's are treated like this...
