Considering that PS4 is currently the best selling home console in Japan and have been selling around 20K weekly (7 days). So 60K in 4 days is a solid good number.

Actually it would be much more developer friendly to port an existing game to a more powerful system where usually you have much more raw power for everything. Porting to a lower spec system usually evolves a lot of compromises. Ultimately, both ways can be rather challenging because sometimes games take advantage of hardware specifics.

For all that matters, Microsoft doesn't have a Xbox powerful enough to run and play VR. But Sony have it and Sony developed a VR Headset solution for its console. This game looks absolutely beautiful for VR.
I would say that 30 minutes immersion on VR gives you a more remarkable experience then 3 hours on TV gameplay. So 3 to 5 hours of VR gameplay on this beautiful crafted dinosaur world aventure is exciting enough.
If Nintendo desires it can put that same 3D Mario game on iPad Pro with ease. You're just talking about exclusives. iPad Pro A9X SoC it's at the same level of Tegra X1.

Actually the iPad Pro 9.7" with A9X it's at the same level and in some aspects better then Tegra X1. And you might want to update yourself about what type of games, including 3D intensive graphics games that run smoothly on iPad Pro.
If Nintendo Switch, as rumored, is powered by Tegra X1, then the advantage will be on the optimization and customization Nvidia and Nintendo have done at API and OS level.
$399 is still mass market pricing.
By the way, the Xbox One S with 1TB hard drive (same hdd size as Pro) is priced $349 and not $299. For $299 you have the PS4 standard that still is a more powerful console for gaming (including VR) then the Xbox One S. I believe once the dust comes down and Sony get their complete hardware lineup in stores (PS4, PS4 Pro, PSVR) people will make their choice with better knowledge then now. Just saying...

Cut to the chase...
The point of this review is not about the PSVR itself. That one have been praised for actually do a very decent job plus having a very promising VR games support.
The point is to criticize PS4 hardware for VR because of RIFT and VIVE minimum requirements on PC.
Since for me a PS4 is a much better hardware console for games then a Xbox One, having both at same price only makes Xbox more expensive in terms of value for the money. That is what I meant :) But is my opinion, as for me, I couldn't care less for a UHD drive in a console.
I want the best video-game console system at the best price possible. Playstation 4 have been this since the beginning. UHD player doesn't make the Xbox One better video-game system then the regular PS4, only makes a Xbox One look expensive when compared with a PS4.
Anyone with the money to invest on expensive 4K TVs and buying expensive physical UHD movies will never be waiting for a cheap console to feature a cheap UHD drive.

This game mechanics/gameplay is aimed to kids. I welcome that Playststion offers something for everybody. If I don't like it, maybe it is because was not for me. I don't know if you ever played the first one, but I am pretty sure you never played Knack 2. Yet you're so sure about ditching on others people entertainment. Amazing!!!
