Only one that will feel the heat is Microsoft. In twenty years—probably less—all gamers will be rid of MS's divisive and degrading effect on the video games community.
Or Nioh, Persona 5, or, or, or....
W.O.W. When it's flashed like that it seems Herculean—so intensly potent that it's something from myth.
I do not.
Comes down to the soul—or lack-there-of—of the companies.
Japanese companies, in general, have more honor and soul than American corporations. Nintendo is a 130+ year old Japanese company built on the foundation of leisure and old-school Japanese soul. While Sony isn't quite as old, it still has much of the same values: Community, honor and soul.
Microsoft stands in stark contrast. Soulless, cold and callous to anything but the business of the dollar....
One of the better reviews.
@Dlacy13g have you ever eaten balut? It's considered a delicacy in Asia. If you haven't heard of it before, go search for a picture—I'll wait.
Now, since I'm sure you're familiar with your palat's personal tatstes, you probably already know if you would or would not enjoy balut. Am I correct? And, even if you are one of the few who would genuinely, objectively enjoy balut you could understand how a lot of us would not enjoy balut without needing to t...
Kameo reboot is a great idea, too.
Grabbed by Ghoulies reboot would had have been a great choice.
No where near half and half—or as darthv72 stated, "split down the middle." More like a sliver or small fraction of gamers support and enjoy the game. 5.6 user rating of a thousand gamers on Metacritic tell the story. It's been 5.6 since the first few dozen users started rating it.
My question is: Why aren't those who enjoy it so much spending more time actually playing it?
Wrong reply.
@darthv72
Been reading a lot of your comments on various articles—you often make some good points.
Regarding this post of mine, though:
"...is that many Sea of Thieves' gamers seem to be letting their pride..."
You complained about me not thinking any gamers could genuinely enjoy Sea of Thieves exclusive from the bias of pride.
When I write I do so with an emphasis on precision. The ke...

Wow. Great inside information—if it's legit. My guess is: It is.
From the story you shared it seems Rare is literally a shell of its former self. Truly a shame. Goes to prove that the wiser, observant coders who used to work at Rare knew Microsoft was going to drive them into the ground and instead got out while the getting was good.
Now, only younger, more fame-blind green-horn coders wander the floors with a few leads and d...
"They" who?
Not referring to users—only approved critics' ratings. There are only sixteen or so at the moment. That includes the weirdo who rated it a 90—a score apparently plucked out of a unicorn's rainbow-colored donut hole.
It's up to 71 on Metacritic. Same exact score as Mass Effect: Andromeda and No Man's Sky. Coincidence?
And that's even with a strange 90 rating from some critic who definitely isn't living up to the definition of the job's title.
A PlayStation VR user seeking attention. Could had have just asked how to delete the picture without dropping the information about it being his wang.
"As long as no one is being threatened or mindlessly debated we should accept these posts or close the browser."
Sometimes it's hard for some readers to tell the difference between the sentence above, and assertive debate—not to be confused with aggressive debate.
Maybe the best thing that could happen is for Rare to be either dropped from Microsoft completely or to be dissolved. At least then the talent that is there could move on before all their creative aspirations are dulled and drained.
Sadly, I'm getting a strong Lionshead Studio vibe from the whole fiasco. Though, Lionshead's closure was followed by a lot more successes than Rare has been having.
And if you don't: Watch and learn.
