Anyone else notice that it seems as though aggression from angry XBOX gamers seems to get focused on Nintendo articles since there aren't as many users to defend those articles as there are PlayStation gamers on PS articles?
Or am I imagining it?
Reminds me of a drunken wife-beater smacking on his spouse because he can't do anything about the boss at work getting him down.
Biggest is an implication by Microsoft to allude being better—not that the two are mutially exclusive of one another.
Anyways, good point. Semantics are best left for courtrooms, though. Even though sometimes N4G posts can certainly feel like judge, jury and executioner. Lol
Thanks for the civil conversation.
Mostly agree with you, rainslacker. It's just that the title of the story is about it being Microsoft's best yet, and that would indicate it needs to be better than the one from o'six.
For me I would only get excited about XBOX again if Microsoft made a formal, meaningful apology that acknowledges the fact the company didn't have gamers' best interest in mind when the 'always on' feature was planned; and, that its going to stop using gamers as no...
Sometimes first impressions can be inaccurate. But sometimes they're not.
Just read yesterday that season four still hasn't been signed on for. If South Park can go twenty+ seasons surely Rick and Morty can do one more...
Wow. Please be amazing. Please be amazing. This exudes atmospheric grit and macabre.
I've been crusiing video game sites since nineteen ninety-eight. When XBOX entered the ring three years later they undoubtedly came with a more venomous demograph. I learned this by working in a Mom and Pop video game store that sold everything from Atari to XBOX.
All you have to do is drop in on a Nintendo story and notice how there is a lot more comradery between PlayStation and Nintendo gamers than there is Nintendo and XBOX gamers.
I can only expr...
As long as Switch can keep up this momentum through year two there shouldn't be anything that can slow down its success. Interested to see what's next in the pipe for Zelda and Mario.
Jinger is correct.

"Sea of Thieves is fun until you meet other pirates..."
Good thing it's not a game built around meeting other pirates.
[Had to do it.] 😁
Lol, frick, G20WLY, you really didn't want to let that one go.
Put the goal post back in the ground already. 😄
Good for Nintendo. Glad to read of a steep bounce-back after the Wii U.
That's a good thought. I admit, the game idea has huge potential—the concept is enticing. Just have to put pressure out there to help ensure it becomes all it can be instead of settling for mediocre due to brand loyalty.
I paraded for No Man's Sky for YEARS prior to its release. I might have well had been the President of its mailing club. But, when it released and the major shortcomings were exposed, I admitted it, boycotted the game and refuse to pay a dime for it...
Have to ask: If those whole-twenty-five-of-you touting this as being the best thing since the XBOX One launched enjoy it so much why are you spending all your time on N4G on the games RELEASE DAY? Wouldn't you rather be playing a game you love so much, surrounded by those who share your opinion?
I know I sure wouldn't be subjecting myself to an environment where I felt like I was being attacked.
And, many of us who despise Microsoft have nothing a...
Unless they make a handheld that is a portable version of the current gen PlayStation console I don't think it would appeal to gamers like the Switch does.
Nintendo's formula only works for them for some reason—as apparent by the Wii motion controls and Nintendo Gameboy and DS lines.
Still, how great would a handheld console hybrid twice as powerful as the PlayStation 4 be?
Hell yeah it was. As a cinematography student I learned a lot about style and camera angles just from playing this game. Some studios do a fairly good job with adding cinematic flair to its games, like Horizon Zero Dawn, but Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was next level.
Beyond excited to see what Hideo does with Death Stranding.
