Yes, there are some brochure shots in there, as well as some Concept vehicle shots.
Read the article, it's discussing not only the vehicles in the game, but about its history, real world specifications and types, hence the different images.
If you can pick the in-game shots from the brochure shots - great. We're trying to educate the novice racing gamer with regards to the vehicles in Forza 3 . . .
I have no idea what they ar eon about, how can it take 6 months for a game to be localised to PAL .. bloody stupid if you ask me, either that, or they are so US orientated, they forgot there's a world outside their own boarders. One never knows.
I'm going to be having SO much fun with this game . . . wondering what will be announced tomorrow?
Oh do away, no one wants to hear you. If you are a wouser then wait until March 2010 before you play GT5 . . or simply grab a copy of Forza 3 and at least have a little bit of fun with it, even if you don't like it much . . . but as they say, you never know what something is like - unless you actually use/play it.
Point taken, a few typos there, what with DB9's DBR9's and the DBSR9's . . . it can get a tad confusing at times heheh. But they are beasts, even in Plain civi (civilian) cloths . . . ALso check out the Koenigsegg CGT from yesterday ( http://n4g.com/NewsCom-4021... excellent car, race breed from the ground up.
Well you do need a nice big fat bank account, or an accommodating bank manager if you want one of these beauties. But Aston Martin are nowhere near as stringent as Maserati with their top of the line handmade made MC12.
You just can not walk in off the street and grab one of those beasts.
You first have to be vetted by Maserati, attend driver training programs and be certified to have a Maserati license BEFORE you can buy one. Now that is being careful about the cars...
I have played the "final build of the game ( http://oxcgn.com/2009/09/06... when it was shipped over via satellite the night prior, for the V8 Supercar announcement a few weeks ago here in Sydney (see link above).
It had been finished only the day prior at Turn 10, and then sent over for that showing and demo at the Lamboghini Showroom.
While we do not hav...
I just love this car, if I had the money, I'd be on their doorstep in a flash.
So at least I'll have the chance to throw it around a virtual track in a virtual car in Forza 3. Many hated the car in other games, as they seem to think all cars should behave the same, controlable. 620 BPH through 2 rear wheels is a handful to control, let alone flying along at 200mph plus.
Just warm up to this car, don't try and bend it to your will, you'll be the one who continues to c...
I never really rely on demos, even good ones, they can never give you the full experience of a completed game with all the bells-n-whistles turned on.
I've always been interested in this title since I saw it actually, and will be giving it a go, simply for the Kill Bill style which does interest me.
Having been brought up on V8's and heavy Six's, the throaty punch of the Big Block Big Bore monsters is what I like.
While the Ferrari's are all glamour and grace, their classic high-pitched Formula Whine which is distinctive to the Ferrari, just isn't my cuppa tea.
Call me old fashioned if you like, but those throaty sounds are bliss.
I certainly wouldn't like to be in PS3 racers shoes atm, We said back in 2008 the GT5 would not hit the shelves until ...
So do I actually but mainly with friends, not with the clowns that frequent XboxLIVE, especially Halo clowns . .
I'm looking forward to the coverage they are going to give to Dodge actually, as well as Porsche, both street and race trim vehicles.
Having played the demo with the Leaping Lizards R series and played Forza 2's Leaping Lizards R series, you can definitely feel the difference, but both are brilliant when you do a little tweaking with the Forza 2 version.
I can see ppl doing comparisons on the various R series vehicle in Forza 3 to the same ones in Forza 2 . . I know...
Sorry mate, no they don't, and probably won't.
It's not Microsfts fault, as they have supplied items for Logitec to use on Xbox 360, it's just Logitec don't want to make the wheel for the Xbox atm.
However, slip over to the site and check out the Fantec range, as they work on both 360, pc and ps3 with a dongle. They also have billeted steel pedal setup if you want to splash out for top of the line item, and having used Fantec in the past, I can vouch for them when i...
I was a bit iffy about this extension of the game, but it seems to be shaping up very nicely now. Ideally we'll have some hands-on with the DLC soon with Rockstars permission here in Australia. Then I'll know if it is going to be worth it.
One thing I do like though is that they are offering it not only as DLC, but in disc form including the earlier content for those several million users that do not have XboxLIVE or who do not want to play online with many of the other idiots th...
either that, or they have finally realised that both games are great, and the world doesn't revolve around the Sony Head Office. GT5 and Forza 3 will provide hours, if not weeks of great fun for both platform supporters, and for those with both, they'll simply have double the fun.
I dislike the MP side of games for one major reason, they take away from the avctual concept of the games storyline and simpoy become yet another online shootem-up mush-pit. Honestly, how many MP's are needed when each is basically the same, just with different characters and colours.
There's no story, no real aim etc. Sure, some games are designed for that reason, and that is great, but does every one have to have a MP aspect in order to be a 'good game' - no.
Agree, it's as if they have sold the whole idea of the game out in order to simply make it more appealing to the American gamer public. Sure, they do have a huge gamer share, but so does Europe, and if they even want to keep Japan onside, then they need to keep some flavour in the game/s from their country of origin.
Not my style of game, and I won't be getting this other than review code, thankfully.
Probably around our 11pm mate . .
I'm looking forward to roaring around the coastal regions in Europe and other areas that are now in Forza 3 . . . That's one thing I like about GT5 - that's the regions they can take the cars. It's great to see Turn 10 taking a leaf from their pages and doing something similar, yet still different . . .
That is how games (all games on all platforms) progress over time.
We'll have a Demo Impressions up after some of the...
You're right about that mate, it was one of the very first-gen releases for the 360, alongside COD2, which also looked a tad woahful actually, it wasn't until their second gen of games that many developers started to come to grips with things, and only now dev are just starting to work properly with the 360 as well as the PS3.
Greenwall was bragging about the graphics naturally, no more than GT5's developers have about their game in the past or still.
All developers brag about their own games, be a bit strange if they didn't, wouldn't you think?
Here's a thought. Let's create a great game, with excellent visuals, then NOT brag and be bullish about it (which is the word he used btw) If a developer didn't behave like that, then they are not very passionate about their own game.
