It is a complaint about details... we never have details about those improvements and I'd like to have info about them.
Don't tell me more... Stabilty improvements?
This can be really be a test for PlayStation 5, when compared to PS4 Pro. Not only for Ray Tracing, but depth of field, frame rate, resolution, textures quality (more than double the RAM available) and... ¿instant loading? Good news for anybody who has a PS5 available for this, really good news.
Se viene (It is coming)
It is a software limitation, as papers say... not hardware. Well... let's see Sony explaination, maybe they don't want to compete head to head with their own dedicated Blu-Ray players, yet, like when PS3 was launched.
Can you use Google Stadia and Amazon Luna with it? Maybe Xbox Game Pass in the near future?
And it is too similar to the game on PS5, but under 30 fps... Ray Tracing on consoles is a problem, right now, until drivers and developers understand how to ride it.
Web browser will be cloud based, like Opera (Opera based, maybe), so no code injection problems will surge with PS5 in the future.
Maybe you can play by streaming on PS5... who knows... it depends on Sony and their Internet browser being available or not, like with iPhone and iPad, the same situation.
Nice to know I'll be able to play them on a tablet and with my Android TV... I hope they activate 4K streaming on time for this.
It is not much to say, when you have been always on third place. But good news for stock holders, I think.
Developers must pay for licenses. Sony only pays for their own sound systems. So, solution is easy... developers, if you want to use third party licenses, pay for them. If not, use what Sony gives for free.
Surprise...
4.0 (16 GT/s): 1969 MB/s - 31.51 GB/s
One of my rigs has a Samsung 960 Pro 512GB NVME 4 years old... yes, FOUR YEARS OLD and working perfectly, that is rated 3,5 GB/S uncompressed transfers (more or less what Xbox Series will offer).
What about compare a brand new NVME unit on a PCIe 4.0 controller? They are around 8GB/s uncompressed...
Do you remember Xbox 360 propietary memory slot? Well... history's repeating. Microsoft fixed it with Xbox 360 S, so maybe in a couple of years we can use standard, cheap NVME devices on next Xbox Series revisions. For the moment, a PS5 seems a cheaper and better solution... think about it: low end Xbox Series S with 500GB + 1TB propietary storage solution for 550$ or full fleged PS5 no drive version with 860GB + 1TB for 550$?
Metropolis Street Racing... If people play this one, maybe Microsoft resurrects Poject Gotham Racing franchise... dreaming with it.
This game is really big. It is everything I'd like to get with a new Commandos.
That's really painfull on a 150$ Elite controller... but you can find 0,50$ switch replacements on Amazon or two complete stick mechanisms of top quality for 9,99$ https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.clou...
This is magical... I love Oculus Quest 2 with Virtual Desktop and as stand alone... and Oculus Link is improving at light speed. It is also good for Sony, as they now have the tools for making a PSVR 2 better than this, with WiFi 6 and USB-C 3.2 as options, and selling it for less than 200$. Sony can save on CPU/CPU in the headset, as PS5 can make most of the work, also on storage, as the headset for PS5 does not need more than a couple of GB. And time runs on Sony's favour... as PSVR 2 h...
