The situation now is that, if you want to play Xbox games, now you can buy a PC or use your smartphone... or your Samsung TV... with an Xbox controller. You will never need an Xbox console to play its new games, thanks to the cloud. With PlayStation 5, you will need the console to get the best experience and all its catalogue.
With a PC, you get the best from both worlds: all PC games and aps with best experience possible + all Xbox titles that really are worth playing.

Consoles have been able to do more than 60fps since nineties. That's the true. I loved playing Amiga games at full 60 or 50 Hz and perfect 1/4 pixel scrolling.
You don't need HDMI 2.1 for 4k 60fps... HDMI 1.4 does that at 4:2:0 compression and, in 2013, HDMI 2.0 provided 4K 60Hz at 4:4:4 fidelity. HDMI 2.1 is for eARC, dHDR, VRR, QMS, ATF, ALLM, DSC and up to 10K resolutions... what really makes next gen is not only resolution, but added features.
I have never expected amazing graphics on consoles... but amazing games and graphics at pair. PS5 will give us this, new and amazing games that have never been done before and in an exclusive way that makes them only possible on PS5... until Sony decides to launch on PC, years later.
