Remember that, from April, it is possible to play and storage from external units... but my option will be to substitute internal NVME for a faster, standard 4TB unit in not more than 18 months... if Chia crypto permits it, of course. I think PS5 NVME will be part of an older PC after that, so it serves for some more years after the change of home.
Have you thought about this? That, if you substitute your PS5 storage unit, you can use the old one on a PC or laptop... or a new TV set...
And mobile... and tablets... and browsers... and some TV sets... It will be everywhere but Switch and PlayStation. That's good news. Everybody will be able to play it... for a price of 1$/month.

Same here, I find Xbox Series S at 299€ in shops and, worse, second-hand markets... by 200€.
Two consoles... Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S are two very different consoles. They should have separated data. I don't think PS5 with and without BD reader need that separation, as both are really similar and games are exactly identical on both.
Same for Xbox One/One S and Xbox One X. One X is a beast... in 2021 and I prefer it to Xbox Series S, definitely.
In one month, PS5 could be the fastest console to reach 10 million. O_O
The title should be "Sony only puts 6 Million PS5 on market".
