You will be able to add any standard PCIe 4.0 NVME to PS5 so... Why bother with a bigger internal unit? It is better bet for Sony to sell a cheaper base console and leave users select how they want to play or expend the extra money: games, storage, online services, more new Dual Shocks... or save and wait for PSVR 2.
To include a bigger NVME unit does not give Sony any money and it makes PS5 more expensive and less desirable. I think it is better to save on storage size but not in sp...

It is a servers side problem. It will be solved when enough servers are working at cruising speed.

That's my situation. It works like charm with Hellblade: Shenua Sacrifice one day... but, that same evening, it is full of artifacts and hardly playable. Other games are worse, with disconnections and laggy response. I suppose Microsoft will use direct connection from Xbox Series controller to the router, so lag is lower, like with Stadia. But, for now, the problem may reside on our Internet providers. 5G sounds far away for most of us.
Thanks we have consoles and PCs to play at ...

Only a company like Microsoft can support this level of failure and continue into business.

Are there devs who will deliver exclusively on XSX the first year? Your sarcasm hurts.

Well... I'd Mention GRIS, also... and the list of titles is far bigger than I thought. Spanish developers have a big problem of global marketing as I see... Good for Devolver Digital, Team 17 and others that fish cheap and get big money with them.

More bandwidth, more lines and faster RAM are... more expensive and cost jump rockets. Maybe, that 8K Cyberpunk 2077 at full specs will only work on some demo stations for next 2 or 3 years. But who knows. Maybe Intel surprises everybody with their 2021's Xes.

There are hundreds of exclusive indie games for PS4 that go on sale and nobody cares. PlayStation Talents program in Spain is a source of those games and this is one of them.

You can play any past software on any 2020 PC... by emulation, virtualization or directly under Windows 10/MacOS/Linux... generations in PC are like one every day or none. It depends on how you get up that morning.

Someone in Microsoft should make a call to Bungie... and ask them some things or pay them to fix Halo.

With Xbox 360, you had an initial model with 20GB hard drive and a model with no hard drive at all. It caused that developers had to make their games with no hard drive in mind, only 64MB of storage as it was what the propietary unit offered (a step back from mandatory hard drive on Xbox first gen). It also caused some confusion among non hardcore consumers who saw a higher price product and a lower price one, but didn't understad the real difference.
HDMI was a later addition t...

And divide developers and buyers? Don't think so. They need to sell ONE next gen PlayStation and its services, not to expend more millions on marketing, design, manufacturing, logistics, formation, support, etc. for different products.

My question is:
Why expend so much money, time, development costs, engineers, manufacturing, marketing effort, logistics, shoppers formation, storage on warehouses, etc. on a secondary product like Xbox Series S, when Microsoft could have just used all of it for promoting and improving Xbox Series X as the only model, so they could sell it at a lower price, concentrate all resources on it and fine tuning all games, system software and apps for launch day? (Not only Microsoft resource...
