Easy achievements on PC and Xbox... that's a good point for playing the game.
Give it two hours... it gets interesting, at least. Mechanics, animations, etc. are sub par, but story and lore gets better near to mid to end.
Maybe in two years Xbox Game Pass will have one big title every month, in the same way as Netflix, Disney+, HBO+, etc. But... yes, now it is expensive for what it offers when you compare real prices of games on its cathalogue, second hand and friend's games. Worse if you compare prices with Steam, Epic Store free games, GoG and other shops.

Xbox Series S is a joke... Xbox One X was a far better option as console, BD player, machine... everything.
I'd be a good idea to close The Collective and use a different boss for all those external studios and partners that really worked on Gears 4 and 5. That... or change studio, because The Collective seems to be only able to hire external studios for making their work... and doing it "cheap in the exterior, expensive inside".
We only need a 256GB NVME PCIe 4.0 High Performance unit to get those "14GB/s" on a new PC (better AMD Ryzen Zen 3 than Intel, for the moment). It is not neccesary to expend 300+ $ on a bigger unit. On PC, we can mix a high end NVME with cheaper options and get the best of both worlds. So... welcome to cheaper ultra quality gaming.
What exclusivity? We have the luck of being able to play their games on Xbox consoles, mobile, PC or with an Android TV and a wirerless controller... We should speak about non availability (on Nintendo and Sony consoles) but not about exclusivity for Xbox games. And this, today, in early 2021... because with browser based Game Pass, it seems that we will be able to play Microsoft games on Nintendo and Sony consoles too.
With Xbox 360, Xbox support was far better than any other. But, after Xbox One release... it has become a real nightmare and some kind of lottery outside US.
It is nice to see console players enjoying what PC players have for years.
It is not a game for consoles... but money is on consoles, so... there you have it, console players. Meanwhile, enjoy it on PC.
