That guy does have a point though: Nintendo is a nice sounding name.
OR they could put Goldeneye on the 3DS and get the same effect.
that's probably the most likely case. If has the note taking thing that the 3DS has, then that will work too. Heck, a lot of the features the 3DS has is welcome to any console.
Portal 2's co-op would be interesting if you could see what your partner saw on the controller's screen.
From what I've heard is that no one is interested in working on it. That's why we have gotten word on it since.
Maybe the half life series can continue (wishful thinking I know).
It seems like Nintendo knows that it will be hard to replicate the wide audience appeal again. But that really was the whole point of their Blue Ocean strategy, get more people into gaming, and then build up loyalties like they did when gaming was new. I'm sure all of the little kids who have a Wii and have gotten into gaming will look at the Wii U as something cooler for them.
Kinda like how a lot of us were when we bought the N64 and then immediately went straight for ...
And cost $600 :P
The tech is a lot cheaper now, allowing for affordable innovation.
For local family gaming, the Wii U will just use Wii remotes. I'm pretty sure Nintendo already said that the Wii U will support all of the Wii's controllers, including motion plus, and the balance board.
1) Doesn't Sony own the rights to Blu-ray disks? So wouldn't that mean if MS or Nintendo wanted to use it, they'd have to pay Sony?
2) Wasn't it stated that the disks the Wii U is using has as much storage capacity as a Blu-ray (without being Blu-ray)?
Wait....wouldn't it be because they already did that? My girlfriend is letting me borrow the GCN game that has Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask on it. You can probably find it cheap online.
Just because one person is having a different experience, doesn't mean that one person will be having more fun. Also, so far, multiplayer games were shown to use the wii u controller and the wii remotes, for a max of 5 players.
Also the point of having a new console is to up the graphics (because people want that), better online (because people want that), and totally new types of game design (because people want that too).
People need to learn to read...Nintendo never said that it only uses one, at least in all the quotes I've read from the articles that said it could only use one. Miyamoto stated that the idea is that it only needs one and that it will only bundled with one...you know, like every other game console in the world.
They had playable demos...the reporters who have actually played the thing said it worked really well.
The ability to take the game from your TV to the controller itself is just one of the functions it has. There are many other features that can be used in the game. The controller can also be used to shift perspective, be like the bottom of the 3DS screen, as to clear up the main screen, and as the 3rd part developers were saying, it can be used to fit any kind of game.
Also Nintendo never said that you couldn't leave the living room, at least in their press conference. T...
Well, do we know the battery life?
While Nintendo does publish new IPs like Pandora's Tower and the DS game Glory of Heracles (which no one bought) and probably some other stuff, Nintendo themselves develop games like The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, the Wii titles (Sports, Play, Music, Resort, etc.) and other in house titles like Animal Crossing and Mario Kart. They also have may second-party teams like Intelligent and Retro making games for them.
The point is, Nintendo as a developer is doing more than...
It amazing how a topic like this can have people show their sexisms...:/
Many female characters weren't designed to represent the empowered female, but more fulfill a male fantasy. Stereotypes of women as secondary characters allows the (assumingly) male player to feel empowered. In the case of Chloe from Uncharted 2, issues with her character actually stem more from the racially exotic being mysterious (contrast to Elena's American white girl or sophisticated sounding Flynn) and the women stereotype that the article mentioned.

What's wrong with the 3DS online? I've been playing Dead or Alive Dimensions with almost zero lag.
