I agree that the PSP2 will be dead on arrival, but not because of anything Apple is doing.
Nintendo's apathy or lack of interest from gamers in general? No ones uses Wii Speak online, and I mean no one.
Jumping just seemed to elude most reviewers in general when it came to this game.
Wii Fit can be replayable, and in fact to some, contains lots of replay value.
There is more to a game than just play time isn't there? Like, a long game can suck in the end, but a short game can still be fun. I know I've played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle like a million times, and I usually just marathon that game.
Heck, Super Metroid is speed run-able, and that's a great game but its really short if you know what you're doing.
Replay value can be found in any game. I know people who play Wii Fit, Wii Sports, and other games that some reviewers have stated have no replay value, just as much as the more popular games.
The game was also being banned in other countries for apparently "disrespecting the soldiers" or some crap like that. Military bases were stocking the game, New Zealand was trying to or did ban the game, etc. All because the "bad guy" team was called the Taliban.
Funny, this is not what most people were saying when Uncharted 2 won game of the year from these guys.
I think it was just nobody was using it. I mean, Nintendo wasn't exactly making tons of wifi games to utilize it, but third parties were at least trying. The Conduit and Monster Hunter Tri both use it, but no one ever had it on. Heck, even in Animal Crossing no one had it on.

But that seems to be the only thing this reviewer didn't like. Reviews are suppose to be able to help us, the consumer, not for the reviewer to strut around their personal taste and expectations.
With this review, its hard to even know for sure whether or not he played the game as all he talks about is how its not the original. I don't remember the original all that well, nor do I have access to my N64, is this new Goldeneye a good game on its own or not?
Perhaps its a way to get people to stop asking them about it.
And by lightyears you mean the exact same thing right? If anything, pointing at a screen doesn't need to be more advanced than the wii remote and even then, I've seen no difference between the wii remote with a motion plus and the move.
These guys have made it abundantly clear that they don't like the wii remote when it comes to FPS games. They should probably just stop reviewing Wii games all together, since anyone looking for Wii reviews probably already knows that these guys have no clue what they are talking about.
That journalist thing is definitely true. This generation everyone seems to have decided that gaming is "super serious business" and think that calling someone "not a gamer" is an insult.
Whatever happened to playing games because they were fun? Cut out all this ego crap.
This is what I'm getting annoyed at. If YOU don't like the game, it's an embarrassment to video games, or the worst game ever, or proof there is good God, or so bad a game that no other bad game before it compares.
Even from I guess this exaggerated (haven't played it yet so I'm not sure) report on why the game is "bad", to say that is an embarrassment to video games makes me think the writer needs to brush up on their history.
