Seriously... I mean why the heck do you have the game title's in bold at the bottom of one page with the text following on the next? Someone doesn't know basic web design.

I'm certain that most will find fault with this list because it doesn't include something they're hotly anticipating. Like Brutal Legend for me.

That being said, this is a pretty good list.

I don't think that was what he was suggesting. I think he's suggesting that IN ADDITION TO USING YOUR GUITAR/DRUMS/MIC CONTROLLERS, that Rock Band or GH should also be able to give you points for motions you may use while playing (i.e., bunny hops or spins or whatever).

It's pretty surprising to see AA getting reviewed already. Has the game even gone gold yet? It's not due out for another 3 weeks. Reviewers giving a score to a game that isn't even technically done yet seems a little whacked.

Wow, this guy's list is ... weak.

Where's Madden? Where's Shadow Complex? Where' Wolfenstein?

Way too many Wii games on his list. What a Wii-ner.

I just picked up an iPod Touch for $300 (the 16gb model). The main use is obviously the tunage, but I was happy to find some nice little touch-screen games in there along with Internet access and other neat little apps.

I think if Sony wants to charge $250 for this puppy that they're missing the boat. I realize they want it to compete with the iPod just as much as with the DS. HOWEVER, they're missing a key function: TOUCH SCREEN INTERFACE.

Also, when I buy an iPod ...

Let's face it: the Wii is not a hardcore console. I know publishers are clamoring like mad to get stuff on the Wii because of the install base, but most of the install base is interested in Wii Play. The Big N kept saying that this was good for the game industry, that all of these "casual" gamers would become real gamers and we'd see an uplift of the hardcore. But frankly with Mad World, Conduit and others sucking wind in the sales dept, you begin to question whether anyone is going...

I loved all three GoW games (even Chains on the PSP). And while I am looking forward to GoW3, the "need" to have it has been reduced by the recent announcements for Dante's Inferno, Darksiders and Brutal Legend, all three of which fall within that GoW-like gameplay model.

Do I want to play GoW3? Sure.

Do I need to? Not necessarily.

I agree with others who have said Sony needs to reduce the price of the PS3 to facilitate sales. Games alone -- es...

That is all.

Just like the PS2 remains a profitable console for Sony, MSFT is looking for the 360 to stretch its lifespan. That doesn't mean that the next Xbox won't arrive until 2015; it just means that MSFT expects that the 360 will be supported (with games) for that long.

I suspect that the 720 or whatever it will be called will be here in 2011 or 2012. Of course, by then there could be 75 million 360s sold, and that's a lot of software potential for MSFT and 3rd party publishers.

If it's not the proper time to drop the price, then it's not the proper time to buy your console.

This is an epic fail. If you already have a PSP, why would you upgrade? No solution yet for existing UMDs, and the thing costs $250? A PSP2 with a fresh lineup of games -- and DUAL ANALOGS!!! -- would have been a better route to take, Sony.

If MSFT is smart, they'll come out with the next Xbox in 2011 and Halo 4 will be a launch title. That would pretty much guarantee its success.

The match-making still sucks. There are too many games where a lower ranked player is stuck playing against a group of players who live on Xbox Live. And 1 out of every 5 games is so lag-ridden that you have to quit out... of course, Gears doesn't make quitting out of a game easy either; you actually have to go back to the freakin' dashboard and then re-boot the game.

Guess I'll keep playing my 360. No way am I coughing up $400 for a console.

6136d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Of course it will make a difference. I'm sure I'm not the only one waiting for the PS3 to come down in price so that I can play KZ2 and, eventually, GoW3. I'm just not going to pay $400 for the console (especially when I tack on a couple of games and an extra controller it starts looking like $600).

When the PS3 comes down to $300 it will pick up sales. The question for Sony is whether the loss they take on every console is worth the increase in the number of customers. After all...

Nothing else will come anywhere close.

It's in 3rd. With the economy in the dumper, it will remain in 3rd so long as it's priced the way it is.

My 360 just took its second crash and is headed off to the repair center. I thought "why don't I go get a PS3 so I can play some KZ2 while it's gone?" and then remembered, "oh, yeah, 'cause the damn thing is $400."

If they lower the price to $300 they'll start flying off the shelves. Seriously.

Hey, Sony. If you "want" me to buy a PS3, then lower the price.

Until then, I "want" to play on Xbox Live.

There aren't any facts here, just speculation. Anyone can speculate. I can speculate that Bioware, having developed all the assets on the 360, will continue main development of ME2 and ME3 for the 360, while EA, the publisher, will put a separate team to work on porting all of that to PS3.

But guess what, it's just speculation, therefore opinion.
