Power isn't the main factor here. Install base is. As long as MSFT has a huge lead over Sony, then devs/pubs are going to go where the money is, and that, right now, is the 360.
Some will dev for PS3 either exclusively or timed exclusive either because of deals they have with Sony (which include $$$ to offset what they're losing by not publishing on the platform with the largest install base), but until PS3 overtakes 360, we'll see the 360 be the first platform of development ...

Look, everyone knew in the last gen that Xbox was more powerful than PS2. BUT, when games got ported over we had similar graphical fidelity, especially any that were released simultaneously. Now in some cases the devs improved the graphics for the Xbox version, but that was at the expense of time (i.e., the Xbox version would come out 3 months after the PS2 version).
The reason for all of this was revenue. More users on PS2 = where you develop for = where you make your product ...

According to the reviewers who are giving HS lower scores (6/10, 7/10), graphics are not the issue. And obviously from this video you can see that the graphics are incredibly impressive. The issue has been gameplay. So if you like pretty graphics but the controls are wonky, then go for it. If you like tight controls along with good graphics, then maybe this isn't for you. I downloaded the MoH: Airborne demo and had the same issues (graphics look great but the controls felt far too loose to me...

The graphics and presentation bumped this up... if you look at the details the gameplay got a 6/10. Ouch is right.
The Edge sounds like they may have lost theirs.
However, as I have posted on several occasions -- and others have as well -- I'm waiting to buy a PS3 once the price hits $400 and there are at least 5 or 6 EXCLUSIVE games I want to play. Lair, Warhawk and Heavenly Sword were on this list. I've taken Lair off; I don't care how pretty it looks; if it doesn't play well then it's a waste. Warhawk I'm still on the fence about; reviews are mixed. HS though was one I was really hoping...

Kratos has to be at the top. In terms of ways of killing, the guy not only was a badass, he made you feel like you were a badass for controlling him.
I think the issue is that Nintendo announced the Zapper-gun-thingy at E3 but lo and behold, the AAA FPS that is coming out isn't compatible with the Zapper-thingy. At least, that's my assumption in how Nintendo is "ignoring" Metroid.

I'd rather play FPS on the 360. My PC is outdated beyond belief and wouldn't run Civ III let alone BioShock.
Dudes, I hope HS rocks, because the PS3 needs something to help it along. But seriously, Play? That magazine has an average score of 9 for its reviews. You see the score will say 8 and then they slam it in words. WTF?
The problem here is that mediocre software is only going to hurt PS3 even more. We can all say "just wait" but the waiting was supposed to be over. Lair, Warhawk, Heavenly Sword were to be the point in Sony's spear for the holidays.
But the point appears to be a blunt edge (except for Sword).
There's no doubt that existing PS3 owners are going to pick up these titles even if they are at or below average. Let's face it: there isn't anything else to play ...
Have you seen how many games get a 85 or more in Play? That magazine's average rating must be close to 85.
The waiting is over, and the games we were told to wait for... suck? Lair gets a 5.5 in EGM; now Warhawk gets a 6.5 in PSM? I shudder to think that Heavenly Sword will suffer a similar fate. These were supposed to be the games to battle BioShock and Halo 3 before the holidays.
Two Worlds is coming to PS3 in January.
