We've seen all this footage before. They've basically mashed together 3 of their levels. There was about 1 minute of gameplay and 9 minutes of cinematics.
The BF3 trailer invoked a lot more excitement in the crowd it seemed, I think it's high time CoD stepped down. Although I doubt that will happen..
@Maniac:
You're confusing developers with publishers -- developers of course want their game to sell, but its ultimately the publisher that is willing to risk a developer's integrity.
not made 2 shitty games apparently
I must have missed this poll at work
It would just be nice if they offered something for those of us that already owned everything they offered. I wouldn't mind additional months of PS+ or in-store credit..
Servers run better in the cold
No but this guy is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
It helps when you actually look the guy up.
@Manech: Actually they use hash functions, which is a form of encryption, it wasn't stored in plaintext: http://www.infocellar.com/n...
2 peta members disagree (so far)
It says "that password can only be changed on the same PS3 in which that account was activated", which means your current PS3, not the first one you bought. You had to have activated your account on your newer PS3.
Hacked as badly? You really think they couldn't do the same thing to Live? Or Steam? Please. The only thing Sony did wrong was not encrypt addresses/names and the amount of time it took to warn people of what happened.
It's like they think this couldn't happen to Live.
What a sloppy review, I got very little info out of this. Everything she said could have described any other diablo clone.. mediocre story, grinding, unbalanced pvp.
It doesn't really work that way, publishers still have a say even if they aren't developing it. They are putting a big chunk of money into it after all.
And 0 fucks were given that day
The library level was one of my favourites actually. It has absolute shit level design, as its ridiculously repetitive and flat, but fighting the flood was a lot of fun IMO, the different enemy types made that level interesting.
Yep, it is too much for the amount of time I'd actually invest in it.
"or example, the ps3 can't load a level at the same time it is playing a level or cut scene with the game engine, so they pre-render all the cut scenes and put the movies on the blue ray"
What, no. This is not a feature exclusive to PS3, 360 loads behind binks as well, assuming the developer has implemented loads this way. It's a common strategy (and a good one). If what you were saying were true, that would mean the PS3 would be unable to stream data during...
@Menech
Pretty much like any synthetic benchmark. But its pretty clear that 1st party developers have figured out how to make the cell work for them.
What they don't realize is how stupid every console's name has been. XBox? Playstation? Wii? Gamecube? List goes on.. just made up words, you get used to them and forget how stupid they sound.
