Since id tech 5 isn't shitty, your argument is invalid.

It doesn't really work that way.. calling developers lazy is a bit naive. Programmers typically put the most amount of time into projects, working the most overtime on average.
One of the biggest headaches in game dev is dealing with ridiculous assets - artists always trying to make things look as good as possible. It would be nice if we didn't have to dial down their work so much.
you just mad because you don't have an engine either.
where's your engine? Oh that's right - you don't have one.
increased ram = larger levels, less to stream, higher detail textures/models.. if you think more RAM won't improve anything, then perhaps you should stick to farmville.

I respectfully disagree. Battle system took everything fun away from what Final Fantasy is, and character/story was just god awful. Only likeable character was Sazh, and he had a fro with a chocobo living in it.
Waiting for boxing day steam sale. I always splurge on steam games and never wait for boxing day sale, so I figured this time around I'd wait.
Just because current games don't look old doesn't mean additional memory/speed wouldn't be useful.
I only read it quickly, but:
http://blog.eu.playstation....
It says the number of activations *per account* are changing, but doesn't explicitly say 2 activations per account.
I'm assuming NA will work the same way as EU.
I was reading that its technically 2 PS3s and 2 PSPs.. so 4 devices. Check the link's comments.
But I am cool with this if it is much easier to deactivate.. still kinda goofy.
Oh I'm sure they will on PC. But not on console, will only be MM and private match I'm guessing.
Really I was just mocking Chet because he thinks the game is more than just HD CS.
I think what people really wanted was a true CS 2.0, not just redone classic maps and a couple new modes that mods probably already exist for.
Right, Chet, it's not just high def CS, it's high def CS with matchmaking.
After playing FFXIII I am staying for away from this game unless I develop some sort of masochistic tendencies.
How about design? Gameplay? Shit that actually matters.
I could care less if MW sells more. So a lot of little boys like MW. Okay, you win :) I will still be playing BF3.
Mass effect is probably the closest - but they tell a bunch of completely seperate stories for each of the squad mates you recruit, so that's easy to allow player choice. The story is still linear - you can't make any major changes early in the game that twist the story in another direction. You mainly affect the end of the game. It would be impossible to do otherwise, with the time constraints to make games like these.
When it comes to story, all games are pretty mu...
You're right, it's hard to fail at storytelling when its practically non-existant. Which I don't care much about, at least in military shooters. But its the same old shit every time.
I really, really, really wished they'd gone with SD cards..
Going to need a large size in order to fit games on it, especially if we're bringing over PSP games.
