Since buying it at launch I can safely say that more than half my PS3 gaming has been spent using it. Played through RE5 three times, about 50 hours on MAG, still regularly playing The Fight, love using it for Hustle Kings and can't stop playing the Killzone 3 beta with it at the moment, then there was Sports Champions, Heavy Rain and all the demos I've tried with it and I still have to play Dead Space Extraction.
P.S. whilst typing this I just saw the Killzone 3 ad...
Although I doubt very much that Sony will drop out of the gaming business surely even the most diehard Xbot must realise how catastrophic that would be. Competition is good for us, seriously we are all on the same side.
I'm more than happy to wait for the PS4, the PS3 has plenty of life left in it, it hasn't even dropped below the £200 mark yet, it's still the price the PS2 was when I bought it 10 years ago. I'd say the PS3 can still grow for another 3, 4 or mayb...
I agree, the new analogue punching system is terrible.
I would always trust my own opinion of a game based on playing its demo than a "professional" reviewers opinion of the full game, that's assuming they actually played the full game.
I used to say that about my joystick.
Why??? It will only become standard if it is truely better, what are you so scared of?
Let's face it, every reviewer seems to have an adgenda of some sort these days which is why I try not to let reviews influence me at all, although I believe that's probably impossible as we are always influenced to some degree whether we want to admit it or not.
All I'm saying is that due to past experiences I believe OPM to be more consistent, honest and reliable that most other magazines and websites that I have come across. I think the numbers I posted above go...
As far as I'm aware these "Official" magazines are all owned by the same company and that company has no affiliation with Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo.
What are you basing that comment on? I try not to let reviews influence me at all these days but I would always choose to trust "these magazines" over any websites.

A quick look on Metacritic will answer your question, why show your ignorance by asking here?
UH??? Is this the US version of this mag? I have the UK version on my coffee table and it gave it a 9. It's the first time I've bought the mag in a while so I wouldn't vouch for their reviewing skills these days but during the PS2 days I based alot of my game purchases on this mags reviews, they were very good and very balanced.
@ct03
The way you have chosen to interpret the numbers is your opinion.
I've set the deadzone to 0%, pointer sensitivity to 20%, and turning to 70%.
I'm loving it with Move. Spent a couple of hours in botzone first then had an online game of warzone and I faired pretty well considering I'm a very average FPS player I got 22 kills and 14 deaths, I would consider that a good days shooting on Killzone 2 (for me).
I've loved the fight night series over the years but this one is not for me.
The new FSPC system is terrible and the story mode looks awful.
The graphics are nice and some of the new additions look good - like the proper scoring system in the amateurs and I like the punch power modifier instead of the haymakers but the new analogue control system is a big turn off and blocking is not as good as previous games.
They have turned what was the closest thing we had...
It's only January, but I get the feeling your going for the attention seeking tabloid style headline. Might aswell say - "Dead Space 2 the most overrated game this"... MONTH, although it doesn't quite pack the same punch, does it?
Personally, I am enjoying this game every bit as much as the original, if not more, which is what I wanted from the game. Plus Extraction with the Move is an excellent extra aswell as the surprisingly entertaining multiplayer. The ...
WOW! 360's install base is double that of the PS3's in the UK? I didn't realise that.
Although, if that's the case, I'm surprised the 360 version didn't outsell the PS3 version by more, considering 360 owners have had no other new AAA rated games to buy and PS3 owners have had 3 in as many weeks - Mass Effect 2, Little Big Planet 2 and Dead Space 2.
I didn't care what anyone else thought, that was what I thought.
Sony made gaming appeal to older kids and young adults. Nintendo have made it appeal to everybody else.
I grew up in the late 80s and early 90s playing on atari, sega and nintendo consoles. When I was about 16 I stopped gaming, in those days console gaming was for kids and PC gaming was for geeks. Then the Playstation came along and gaming became cool.
They made the first Shift and it was piss so that's all I need to know.
I've had this wheel for over 2 years, so yeah... a bit late!
I'm really enjoying using the Move for Killzone 3, it's more fun than the DS3, however, I'm not sure if I'm doing any better with it, in fact I'd say my stats are much the same as they were for Killzone 2.
Not understanding what your saying about the benefit of not having to move the camera with the Move. It's not as if you have to move the camera with the DS3 then position your crosshairs independantly, they both move at the same time.
