....if that's alpha then damn the final thing is gonna rock.
I hope the PC version doesn't suck as much balls as the AW versions did.
They should have done this from the start. Life really starts to dip into the realm of a Matt Groening cartoon when a company struggling to compete against touch screen software is given technology to make a no touch UI but they decide to use it to make dancing games and shameless rip offs of Nintendogs.
"Right right right, so what you're saying is that this is one of the most interesting technologies to be entered into the electronic market in a good few decades an...
Bethesda are hardly the MMO type of developers. They would have been better off letting these guys make a fallout MMO, live off the revived interest in the franchise, make a single player fallout 4 on skyrim engine and BAM, every body's happy.
Now interplay are going to make a "wasteland" survival MMO with Roman slavers, Ghast mutants and Super-Monsters that'll probably fail and Bethesda will either make an MMO that won't be that good cause they're e...
1) Ever heard of emulators?
2) 8 bit games rocked, their music rocked harder though. No one knows how or why - it just is. Also an 8-bit game would use a 1/1000th of the HD space as CoD but still last longer in terms of play time. Huh... funny.
3) Modern warfare 3 is on a lot of platforms soooo? You know cancer is on a lot of "platforms" as well. Popularity does not equal quality and just because it's popular doesn't mean I'm going to pr...
Yeah that sucks so much ass. I understand why in the old days of shipping but it makes no sense on steam where all they have to do is make an encryption key available. Sucks absolute balls because there's no way I'm sitting twiddling my thumb while some American gets to swing his sword in Albion or Skyrim or wherever just because his Dad decided to leave it in on the other side of the ocean.
Whether this is true or not I still think all the community generated rumours are a good thing. Whether it's the community trolling the community or not the fact that the entire web goes insane over Gabe Newell's butt crack slightly resembling the number 3 if you drop acid and face north might help show valve how God damn desperate for this game we are.
Trust me I love CS and I love portal and I love l4d but seriously - make one more mother fucking sequel to a game th...
Psi-shock... sounds familiar.
Might I suggest a rename? Because a survival horror set on a space ship with the word "shock" in the name MIGHT... just MIGHT... draw some comparisons with another oh so slightly popular franchise also set on a space ship with survival horror elements blended into an fps.
It's not TOO much to ask of game developers to not be a bunch of cunts is it? Regardless of the ToS.
Actually every point made here is pretty damn on the ball. I was expecting some crazy ramblings but it seems like a pretty definitive ball crushing stamp on the iron wolf thing. None of these are small mistakes - let alone when stacked on top of one another.
Blower? Who the hell is blower?
If you mean Bioware then it might be worth pointing out that bioware isn't six programmers in a basement. It's hundreds of people stretched across multiple companies, multiple buildings, and multiple cities. And that the people making generals are a newly formed company who have the more established bioware's name slapped on them for a) marketting purposes, and b) so that Bioware can give them appropriate guidance.

It's obvious what the content is. It's Frank White's campaign - firstly the images above feature him without any of the main characters and secondly it's in the bloody game's menu as an option (check extras). They might as well announce it.
It's a shame because I enjoyed dead island. I didn't think it was a great game, I mean good Lord there was so much wrong with it's design but I still enjoyed it and I still think it has very clever level de...
Activision - taking the "industry" in "games industry" and beating the living shit out of "games" so hard that the fun and creativity launches out of it's arse at record high speeds.
You tell me how many people are still playing half life 2 on console in 2011 vs those on pc because the number would be much higher on pc. Mods extend the life significantly longer and the fact we don't have to rely on official servers for multiplayer and don't have to wait for patches means that half life has seen a significantly stronger fanbase in the PC market.
20$!? it's like 7 on steam! Seems a bit odd to pick it up used when new it's cheaper. Unless of course you're talking about xbox version... in which case I'm still sure you'd get it cheaper than 20 bucks.
But of course I can't sell something I own in case I leave these people who earn over 50k annually with nothing to eat.
Good point about the children actually. You can sit down and watch a film where they rape women, kill children, torture people, mutilate people, sew people together like a paper chain but if a game does any of those things then oh no, "think about the children" despite the great big giant "18" stamped onto the damn thing's cover.
I enjoyed it. No it wasn't perfect but then again what game is? If you didn't like it then fair enough, that's your opinion, but now all these guys want is a bit of feedback. Turning around and barking "IT'S SHIT" isn't going to help. My honest feedback would be:
More interesting side quests. Larger crowds of zombies. The ability to start off with guns. More interesting and varied weapons, (basically a significantly improved loot system). Also b...
All we need now is a cracker based shout and we have ourselves an appertiser.
Rage was a severely limited offering IMO. They placed too much significance on achieving 60 fps. I appreciate the effort they put in to get it but it should never have been at the cost of close up textures. The gunplay was astounding but so severe was the disappointment with the narrative and game length that I still can't look back with a smile.
The end level was unforgiveable, the characters were boring (albeit their mannerisms and animations were awesome), and the plo...
